Early like any company. You won't see invites till the 26th outside of Japan, their testing is over.

No it isn't. They will be adding more JP players to.

"This phase will be adding in users from all regions (JP/NA/EU), and tester selection notifications will begin being sent out on November 26th."

LOL ... I think some people read all the information SE releases and have good memories so they post what they know. I do not see many errors in the advice given or the information being given out. These unnameable players are on top of it!

Also I highly doubt they will release it in 8 am in the morning. They will most likely release it around noon JST or later in the afternoon. I remember I got my email for the first round of the open beta back in 1.0 around midnight EST.

Wow upon rereading the NDA discloser agreement, it says that no one can disclose anything about the alpha even if you aren't in the alpha. So it is even risky to say your friend got into the alpha and you didn't.

I think SE are unlikely to ban your account for saying you got into the alpha. It's the serious NDA breaches they care about such as talking about the content in the game, posting videos/screenshots or giving opinions on it. But why risk it?

No, they cracked down on general NDA breaks in the JP tests, JP mostly joked about it though because they were tallying how many got in and you had some saying you're making an easy ban list for SE to follow.

Well if it means anything which it probably doesn't, 1.0 Alpha invites were sent out at 4:55 AM PST. Doesn't mean they will send the 2.0 ones out at the same time. But most people found out they were in the 1.0 Alpha when they work up in the next day and checked their email.

E-mail synced to phone.... Phone alarm set to go off when I recieve an e-mail notification. Gonna sleep peacefully till I get an e-mail. It's not like if you don't check your e-mail right away you'll have your alpha e-mail revoked, so just sleep and check it in the morning =) or do what I've done. I'm not fretting. If I get in: yay I get to help make the game better! If I don't get in: oh well, I'll go about my life as normal.

It should be based on JP time, after all every official post always has been and more JP players are being added, even with that said, i doubt it'll start showing up until after midnite PST based of past history (midnite PST being irrelevant flag, more just the fact that it's a convenient time JP). Not a major event, if i get in i'll do whatever the e-mail says tomorrow after I wake up lol.

If you really wanna have some sort of notification, I'd recommend having it set-up w the FFXIV Twitter account then check your e-mail. Can't imagine waking up all night for every e-mail I receive just for a notice of Alpha acceptance considering 1st possible opportunity to utilize that acceptance is 2 days after.
