I liked it.
The part at the end where they show the actual planet really got me. I think we sometimes forget that there is supposed to be a big world out there.

Really loved the victory fanfare at the end. That was a nice touch.
I watched it this morning and thought it was lacking. First one was better minus the pancho voice acting. Maybe i should watch #2 again.
tl;dr
Loved it. Much better voice work, and they actually showed where the Crystal Tower comes from - inside of Dalamud!
Its quite telling when you look at the amount of views these trailers have received in comparison to other game trailers, specifically GW2.
SE def has their work cut out for them.
Much better voice burt the strange pauses in mid-sentence made it sound really strained....
The voice over is horrible again. It made the whole thing laughable.
I wonder if the crystal's theme used at the start of the new trailer will be available for download.
I'm Feel 90% sure they are doing this Approach, I mean how else would that part fit anywhere else in a long CGI.
Edit: I JUST saw something!! the Huge Sword thing that comes Down From Dalamud Turns that Area into a Snowy Region. ( The Sword had Blueish lines going through the Sword).
I like this one better, as the first one was a bit too dark for me. The voiceover is still a bit weird, but less cringeworthy than the first trailer.
This pretty much confirms my fears that Realm Reborn's cutscenes will likely have underwhemling voice actors, which is a shame.
The first was a bit too grimdark, I think this one had a lot of promise of adventure :)
This trailer was pretty nice, I love the way they made Odin look and King Behemoth looks beastly! (no pun intended...)
I really don't like the voice actor/actress though...it just doesn't quite put me in the intense zone where I should be from watching the trailers. I think it's the little echoey sounding voice the female voice has, just doesn't sound like it belongs. As for the male voice well...we don't need to beat a dead horse haha.
How many languages do Swtor/WoW push teaser trailers at the same time? idk, i'm askin'.
Overall I think this is a great trailer. I think the voice acting was excellent. It is not too slow, this shows emphasis, imo. Great job SE!
Edit: and the music is Fantastic!
I liked the woman's voice much better. Good Job SE!
I really like this second trailer!
This makes me very excited for A Realm Reborn even more! :D
So, Maelstrom confirmed for leading Eorzea once things go crazy. Seems about right.

You, the smart ones use the dumb ones as meat shields first. Yup, you are about right ;)
the second trailer is good just like the first one. the woman voice over in the second was smooth and easy to listen to. seems more natural to me
I want to see Battle Reg's badly!
What I like about the 2 trailers, is that neither gave the false impression that there would be a greatsword like the current opening movie does >_<
But... now I wonder if they plan on changing the opening movie.
Nice trailer, much for FF feeling to it indeed
so the crystal tower comes from Dalamud and change region to snow... sweet :)
some gameplay now please, can I have it?
I prefer the new one, honestly. :p
I just realized, they're really going to fuck up with area of the world big time.
The main guy's expression is priceless, lol.
Rewatched it a couple of times, dont think the sword-looking thing and Crystal Tower are related, but whatever that thing is that fell is intriguing. Not sure how I feel about coming face to face with some Titan-like creature that uses that sword to cleave through entire alliances in a Spike Flail manner... wait, yes I do. LETS DO IT!!!
LOL people are still hating on this game/trailer...................I hope yoshi will shut them the fuck up.
Girls voice is better than the guys voice tho, thats for sure. Tho, she still needs to calm down a bit too :)
I know There's this person that said this on Youtube:
I asked him if he had any proof FFXIV is going to suck and this is the Answer he came up with.. Like He's been keeping track of the game of 2 years to even pose any proof at all to me.. so that answer was to be expected.Quote:
Maybe in the fact that the original was such a failure that they had to literally remake it. And if you honestly think they made big enough changes that it will suddenly become good and exceed anticipation, then you are drastically fooling yourself.
Some people are one-track minded when the First FFXIV failed ( which it did not going to lie) that means it fails forever in there minds.. No matter how much of a comeback/changes/fixes SE makes some people are just 1 track minded to " Try the game for Free" because it doesn't cost any money for a limited amount of time.. to see if the changes are good...
This Gameplay @ Gamescon needs to blow those people out of the water... or else I'm not sure how FFXIV Itself will hold up. It has nothing to do with"games being F2P" because wow "even though its declining slowly because it's a super old game" they still have over 9 million subs and the subs are 15 a month... which is the same for FFXIV Standard package. and you can make 8 ( can be whatever Job you want) Characters, Wow its only 1 Class per Characters.
I agree Neorei SE really needs to shut these people up >.>.... If only these people knew the changes FFXIV wet through that Yoshi-P made... sigh...
The only reason I came to this Conclusion about the Sword being the cause of the area being engulfed in Snow, is Because after the Sword landed it quickly Transtioned and Showed the Crystal Tower. The Area before the Snow is the same area without it when I look at both they look like the same area. I could be wrong, but judging by what I saw it looks like to be the same area.. and the Sword being the Crystal Tower, if that is true.. then that will be Very Unique indeed.
I hope my Speculation is true ^.^
Edit: Also the Choir made me think "Before and After" Kinda thing Sword smashing down: Started at low tone After the Transition: High tone voices telling me this is what it looks like now. Again all Speculation :p.

THEORY TIEM!!!
We all know of DURLURMERD.
we all know that DURLURMERD collects crystals and vaporized people's life force.
We also know that giant weapon like pillars pierce the earth and uses the crystal's energy from inside DERPDEDERP
So what if DERPINGTON isn't really a satillite/weaponofmassdestruction/meteor, but something that is actually used for rebirth? Creating new life using the power of the crystals? (And Van Darnus who might be encased in one?)
The woman's voice in this trailer reminds me of Cate Blanchett's portrayal of Galadirel, Queen of Elves. I actually didn't share the first trailer on my facebook page because of that horrible voice acting. It made the trailer sound like a B-Movie.
This trailer is much better.
I honestly thought the voice-acting was pretty good. She sounded really in to it. I especially liked it when she said "Brave warriors, heed the crystal's call!". So dramatic!
It's funny that so many thought she sounded like Galadriel, since that was my initial reaction as well. I'm sure that's exactly what they were going for. I wouldn't be surprised if she's supposed to be Nophica, as someone else pointed out.
