Its pretty obvious that the reason all of the trials this expansion are linked to the MSQ is because they didn't want to have to make assets post for Endwalker's post MSQ, and a separate storyline like Werlyt or Four Lords.
Hell just looking at the Tataru questline they keep advertising as content for Endwalker, its all just been recycled assets and locations.
Honestly it just makes Endwalker feel so small

Or do you have a reading impairment and when you see "Hardcore" and "Midcore" all you see is Elites, Elitism, Elitecore
The game doesn't even have a skill ceiling because it is literally underground.
The game is either too easy that you don't need to do anything or it is too difficult (Which the too difficult content is lacking) there is no inbetween for the "MIDCORE" crowd, not Elite crowd, M-I-D-C-O-R-E crowd

Everything starts an argument with someone on these forums. Makes me wonder why I keep coming back at all.
I remember getting drunk in EverQuest and having my screen blurred and tilting from side to side for ages. Good times. They'd have to make you unable to queue for Duty Finder or join Party Finder while doing it if they did it here, though. Maybe a debuff that prevents it until the debuff wears off.
Way back when I started raiding in WoW, back in Ulduar, my first guild had a healer who adamantly refused to raid sober.
The downside was that he also refused to turn off his mic when he started hurling.
I didn't stay with that guild very long.

Only been drunk once. Ordered $400 worth of pizza for everyone at the place I was at. Also I'm happy go lucky when drunk. Too happy.
I think it would be funny to sit through that dudes healing once...but that's about it.
Hard stop gates for casual players. Fomo from pvp seasons. Fake community, though that's more of a player issue than a game one, but the reward structure rewards people for being selfish.

4 years later the story is good, community sometimes sucks and i'm single.

6.0 is just reskinned content. Seasonal events, raids and dungeons... Maybe a few new boss mechanics, but nothing that is astounding.
They didnt experiment with new mechanics for the new deep dungeon, treasure maps got nothing new either.
I fear that 7.0 will end up just the same theme park experience.
We did not get any new dance in EW, did we? D :
We know they know their squares and their circles, cool.
We could get some OTHER kind of battle arena. With FEATURES. With ENVIROMENT. Maybe even with... HEIGHT.
There are so little examples from real enviromental use. Alexander comes to mind, maybe some fight in Omega. And that would be it.
Job design has become stale in the name of raid balance.
I miss fights where you jump on the boss and make a mad dash to their weak point.
Shinryu is the best example, you climb on their tail and dodge lazers and then later you jump on his back to attack his wings to stop him from casting a mini-enrage.
There is Bismark but people seem to hate the fight

Usually it is just safer for them to make Square and Circle arenas because people just hate fights that have some downtime so the fight could show some epicness in the fights.
They had more arena variety in Coils, Alex and Omega because they were still testing the waters and they had more creative freedom, in Coils and Alex they felt like actual raids and they used that to make unique arenas and fights. Omega they tried to retain the uniqueness in fights but it was slowly starting to dwindle because they only had 1 room to think up of something and all those fights that had downtime, people hated it which further made room for creativity smaller. which is why some fights feel sorta samey with rehash mechanics with a different coat of paint.
The story is incredibly overrated and is average at best, especially as time has gone on. Also healers are boring to play now and job design is getting worse.
