I only remember there was a big boom in hololive vtubers playimg FFXIV a few months ago. I only know Nene plays sometimes with another Hololive member. And Ina plays by herself for personal reasons.

Honestly the one with floppy ears is the only one that looks "obviously" like a dog...the others are just Miqos with more accurately feline ears lol it's so similar it might as well just be a third clan than a whole race altogether /shrug

Back on topic. I think they would be a nice addition plus its been shown people enjoy these types of races so it wont be time wasted. They would be as popular as the others like it. So why not? More variety.

I admit, a fox girl would be kind of cool to have, but also kind of redundant, so not worth the resources spent. I'd prefer a proper elf race (elezen/hyur), if anything. Of course, they should just be updating what we have to a satisfactory point, before even thinking about adding more races, in my opinion.

Would rather have the resources put into completely updating the character creator and finishing Viera and Hrothgar tbh.

One of the reasons why I'd want canine types added in a small form like Furball Korone is because of the amount of large/medium races we have. The game needs another small race that can kick the ladder out from under the lalafells that still think they're automatically the cutest just because they're the smallest. :P

if ever there is a new race anymore it's not really worth making unless their physique is considerably different than what we have

anyway if all you want is dog girl/boy it'd be easier if they just updated char creation to allow different types of ears+tails beyond kitty for miqo, maybe even viera...........or removing scaley bits from au'ra to give puppo.....eh

The Popori from Tera Online would make a great new race. Our version could just be auspices from the Far East that decided to become adventurers. :D

YES!! We need dog races in XIV! PLEASE!

You could add them to the Gold Saucer, maybe another floor of the building could be the entire dog track. Unlike chocobo races, we could sit in stands and watch the dog races. Bet MGP on the dogs and they could have odds that change from day to day.

Give more options to existing races too please. Gimme different ear styles and more updated looking lips that don't look like those wax ones. ty

I dont think another fur race is a good idea. The current one is struggling as is. Though if they make female hroth like mithras it will save it.

Last time people pointed this out, they were lambasted for not considering how SE operates on rules that modders don't follow, such as quality standards or polygon count.

I do doubt hats are as impactful as a 1.0 vase would be... But then I remember Hrothgars had their ears chopped off, so who knows. It probably is that bad.
