Could we have the crystal we received in the MSQ show up as a key item in our inventory? I'd love to use it as a macro icon.
More glamour plates have already been requested. If that's not possible, could we have the ability to save additional glamour plate layouts, even if we can only have 15 actual plates active for some technical reason, and then switch a saved layout to one of the available active plates when we want to use it?
In this same vein, could we also see where the Duty Action interface appears in the HUD for the same reason? Or, better yet, be able to move it.
for the record, I am talking about the box that shows up in the bottom right quarter of the screen in duties like Lakshimi, not the QTE bar.

Can the UI change for crafting. When changing crafter class you always have to terminate the crafting window before switching to another class. It's quite annoying. Can we just be allowed to switch right after crafting an item without having to end the crafting and close the window and relaunch crafting window again?
Can you loosen the glamour plate restrictions so that you can change any where when that you can change jobs (not just in town)? I want to be able to switch jobs and have the glamour match! (Also wouldn't say no to more glamour plates :D )
Inventory Management: Materias, Baits, Relic Weapons, Duty Tokens, Armoire
- My Chocobo Saddlebag is full of gatherer, crafter, and dps materias.
- One of my retainers is full of duty tokens (totems, coins, books etc) and fishing baits.
- I would like to collect all the relic weapons, gear and tools from all expansions, as well as the deep dungeon weapons (also for glamour purposes). At the moment this would take around 324 item slots total, which is a bit less than 2 retainers.
- Sometimes I try to put relic weapons, relic gear, or glamour I'm getting through MSQ in the armoire and I'm surprised to see they're not accepted. It's starting to take a lot of space in the glamour dresser.
I'm therefore wondering:
- would it be possible to have dedicated inventory windows for baits, materias, and duty tokens, the way crystals have their own inventory system and capacity limit?
- what determines which gear can be put in the armoire? why is the ARR relic gear the only relic gear that can be stored this way? why can't the glamour we're getting through quests be stored, when gear we get through achievements and seasonal events can be?

Will there be a new type of craft for leathering carpentry or weaving which deals with bags/boxes and inventory management, I would love to see "Material" specific boxes that stores ones for ores/sands/gems and then those for logs/branches flower types and fruits/vegetable boxes. this could help managing inventory space run alot smoother.
I love the iddling camera feature and have it on the big screen during home office. But the scene switching is very fast.
Could we get the option to configure the time till it switches to the next scene?
If freely configurable is not an option, I'd like 30seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes and an hour (the later two preferred).
All keys on the keyboard have one function only, except for the Escape key which has two functions (close window, open main menu). Could we get the option to turn that off? So Escape only closes windows but doesn't open the main menu.
Living Dead is a convoluted, unintuitive ability that is very clearly in need of a UI update.
1) This is a life-or-death ability, and the only ability that actively kills the player if the required conditions aren't met, but there's no indication to your team that it is active outside of a tiny buff icon on party bars.
2) There is no indication to a new healer that this is a time critical ability requiring intervention, outside of a mouse-over text box that does a really poor job of explaining the effect (and the English language tooltip for the ability description and buff mouse-over descriptions are incorrect).
3) There is no indication to your team about how much healing still is still required to cleanse the effect.
What are your plans to address this deficiency?
There has been a ton of feedback on how terribly designed this ability is, but if you want to disregard about five years of angry community feedback threads on the ability, the least that could be done is to develop some UI support for it. Perhaps turn the HP bar from green to black with a countdown timer on it, and have the black overlay shrink to zero as you receive incoming healing and cleanse the effect, revealing your green HP bar underneath.

Since 4.3, when you log in and whenever you enter a zone/instance, you get a green notification on what achievements are available in the area and what achievements you have close to completion.
Can you add an option to disable this notification? The current option only applies to login and only changes how the information is displayed.
Can we have type damage in chat to signify type damage enemy does (P)physical, (M)magical (O)other. It would improve players using the appropriate actions to negate the damage.

When customizing a mannequin it takes up slots on the retainer. Can we have the option to not have the glamour of the mannequin be on the retainer sales list so we can sell more items and/or glamour more mannequins.
Can you put the nodes name (A1 A2 B1 B2 C1) on the map in Frontlines. Would improve communication in frontlines without having to mouse over while in combat.
When I click on a link in chat it centers my map on the flag/link. Can I have the option to not have it center my map. It moves the half the map off screen.
Can you add a stopwatch like element for fishing. I have been using macros with /ac cast, /echo #<wait.#> and I have to adjust the macro depending on what fish I am looking for. It would be nice to not have to rely on a macro to notice the time since I casted. I also have to use a separate chat filter incase I get /tells or /fc scrolls up my log and I miss the time to reel.
Can we get the ability to glamour (one-handed) wands over (two-handed) staves? There are some really cute wands that I would love to use for glamour, but beyond level 50, the WHM and BLM main arms are only two-handed, so using a wand for glamour is impossible.
Could the chat box fade out after some time of not receiving messages? And can we have the same for job gauges? When I'm in a city/wandering around I don't need to see my DRG's/BLM's gauge.
Would make it easier to immerse myself when just walking around to look at the beautiful world.
Can we have the option to not see buffs that are already shown on the job gauge? I understand that the party list should have that so others can see it but I don't need to see my cards as AST on my gauge and on my buff bar. Same with tank stances etc. Thank you~

Could we be able to use a larger amount of game icons and UI icons for macro icons?
There are a lot of icons that would be perfect for describing certain macros, but currently cannot be used, like certain items and system setting icons.
A drag and drop interface for choosing macroicon would also be good! Where one could drag an icon to the macro creation interface when creating or editing a macro, and the game would use that as the macroicon!
Example: I use macros for adjusting sound and music volumes depending on situation, and I havent found any icon (like a speaker or a note) we can currently use that would describe it well. The icon that denotes the "sound settings" in the system menu would be perfect, but it is not available to use.
please allow us to add more chat tabs!
BLU has access to saving different spell sets which is great but would it be possible to change the hotbars too when switching sets so you dont have to switch out spells each time
Can you add a feature that adds a marker to both the player and their icon on the party list when you mark them? I play on controller and this would be a great feature to implement when playing as a healer.

Is there any chance we can have parts of the UI fade out when combat is triggered? I have actions bars that are not combat related and would like to have them fade away in combat to free up more space on the screen. This also applies to say the inventory slots, money etc.

Can "Last Login" information show on the Linkshell and Cross World Linkshell UIs? It's very hard to manage active Linkshells when they full up fast and you can't tell who's active or not.
Can we please get an invulnerability window added to S Rank and maybe SS rank hunts. I would recommend 5 minutes to allow everyone time to arrive. Most of the players are great, however there are trolls who go out of their way to pull early in order to upset everyone. I’ve missed out on hunts on my own server due to several minute PS4 load times when teleporting and early pulling trolls. I’ve also missed out on SS ranks that I help spawn because people will pull as soon as it pops, and the mobs that spawn it aren’t exactly close. PLEASE add an invulnerability buff of 4-5 minutes to prevent this senseless early pulling. We can’t enjoy the game if we’re required to wait by the tele with the world visit menu up (Still only make it to 30-40% in time when doing so). Thanks for your consideration.
would it be possible to show every second during a countdown instead of 5 second intervals? I know dancers and astrologians in particular prefer to have a precise countdown in high level duties
Would it be possible to add more categories in the housing menu? Like seperating tables from chairs and add a seasonal tab. It can be difficult to find a particular piece of furniture in atm if you have lots of things both in the house and in storage.

I had to stop playing the game for 2 years to help look after my father who had terminal cancer. Now that I'm back gaming, I have a space on my shelf for it, but can't find it from any legitimate source.
As the factories aren't mass producing them, I wouldn't even mind paying a premium to get it, just so I can finish off the collection.
Any plans to introduce XYZ housing item positioning? Housing has some amazing communities, but I find its a shame that you have to learn to glitch the system to 'float' assets and make things look how you want them to look
Is it possible to introduce simpler battle effects?
As the game has gone on, abilities have become flashier and bigger, to the point that at some S rank hunts, if you have everyones abilities turned on to display, you can't even see what you're attacking, or sometimes the direction of the mob is obscured by the new years eve fireworks display of attacks.
Its a shame to turn Battle Effects to Limited or None as it really takes away from the game. a Simpler version to shrink the size of the animations on the mob would improve the game play immensely.
An additional idea, would also be to make the targeting ring under the mob show over all battle effects so its easier to tell where it is, and where it is facing.
