Anima & timers dumb and are only there to annoy players. They provide no additional value to the game. Don't even get me started about being locked out of dungeons for 15min
You seem to be confusing stress with challenge. Traveling long distances causes fatigue because of the stress of maintaining focus on one thing for so long, not because it a challenge.
Just... stop trying guys. He's either a bad troll or incredibly dense lol. Probably both.
His posts have dwindled down to the likeness of a broken record.
I don't know about you but riding or walking a couple of minutes to my destination doesn't mentally fatigue me. I tend to actually zone out most of the time while travelling. I'm just as effective after walking or after teleporting, maybe you should stop mentally over-exerting yourself by moving.
Are you also challenged by eating food and watching TV, because they both require at least a small amount of focus.
How is this a petition? More like a teddy throwing session if you ask me.
We have travel. The key here is balance. This 2nd home point isn't breaking it. This last series of posts between you and I have to do with your flimsy argument that mental stress due to extensive monotonous in-game traveling is a viable form of challenge for a video game.
....aaaaand you are officially trolling. GGs.
Oh good grief now theres a maint he's patroling his thread like a good little policeman, get over yourself fella.
It is time sink... as in sinking you know like a ship that gets a hole in it sinks in the ocean... Time sync would be trying to say it syncs your time... or matches your time which just wouldn't make sense.
Anyways for the most part on this... and I don't really like to go this way but I have to agree with Wolfie. Take a break from the forums for a bit before posting again please.
I personally do not see how this will cause a problem at all... with this I will still have my HP set to Gridania at the Inn and I can not set my HP somewhere else when I got to do events or just helping people with stuff. I think it works out just fine. Also I happen to take the airship all the time and I also run around everywhere and use my chocobo a lot.
But I guess some of you humans just like messing things up and taking things away from others... I think someone else posted this but I will state it again... This is why we can't have nice things...
The cat is bemused =-.-=
I'm looking forward to setting my HP to broken water and returning to my inn so I can refresh my leves =)
This makes it easier for new people and help entice them to stay so I have no objections.
Its no different to smart use of warps/HP in 11 for farming or other purposes.
Tell me, what exactly is it breaking? You're immersion? Lulz. It isn't breaking anything, it's providing players and easier method of travel, so we can actually DO THINGS instead of spending 30 minutes running from point A to point B, just to run right back to point A again.
I found this game for you, I think you'll enjoy it. http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/
But he never answered my question.
I don't see what the big deal is.
Hey guys i had to walk to the store today and that was the most challenging thing i ever did in my lyfe :)
You must live in Florida.

I'm only using the following qoutes as a reference. I'm just trying to get a better idea about the reasoning behind the comments and give my honest opinion about being able to set 2 homepoints.
To be honest, i still don't understand why being able to set 2 different homepoint will render the airships useless. From what i understood from the OP is that you can only return to either homepoint. So, it's basically a one-way trip. On the other hand, it doesn't say that both homepoints won't be accessible via the same Return option. By that i mean that when you use "Return", you will get the option to select either the "Aetheryte" homepoint or the "Inn" homepoint. After using the Return option, the 15 minute timer would kick in and you will have to wait 15 minutes to "Return" to another location.
So, if i currently have my "Aetheryte" homepoint set to Camp Glory in Coerthas, my "Inn" homepoint in Ul'dah and want to travel to Gridania to do a Primal battle, then i would still use either a Teleport (if i have enough Anima) or travel by Airship. That is something i would've done even if we only have 1 homepoint. I really don't see the problem of having 2 Homepoints.
And to be completely honest Rokien, does it really matter if we have 1 or 2 homepoint for people who want to "Death Port"? If people want to "Death Port", they would do it anyway, regardless of how many Anima or Homepoints they have.
How many of you have forgotten to set your Homepoint back to your original "Aetheryte" homepoint (like Ul'dah) after doing a quest or spiritbond party in Coerthas? And when you use "Return" at (for instance at Camp Broken Water), you find yourself at Camp Glory instead of Ul'dah? On that note, i wouldn't mind being able to set a 2nd Homepoint at an Inn. That way i can always port back to the city i usually go to, in order to park myself in the Inn and log for the day.
But, in short... Until we recieve more information about how we can use 2 different homepoint, all we can do is speculate. I'm not going to say that we shouldn't discuss the matter, but it's wise to keep an open mind. The game is not going to "break" because of an option like setting a 2nd homepoint, which you don't have to use if you don't want/need to.
I for one enjoy to walk around on my Chocobo and travel with the Airship. But i will use my Anime if i need to go somewhere fast.
They're the best tanking gear!
Hahahaha! I was not going to go all the way over there.... xD
Well, then...

Dude..............(OP)
GTFO with this mess. Seriously, its people like you that make me hate people. Who cares!!!! And even if the answer is you..........who cares. You just need to learn to lighten up a bit, its not the crisis situation you make it out to be. Now please end this thread and all other petition threads before I start spamming the forums with made up ridiculous petitions. Maybe I should anyway?
