The ankle length barmaid dresses the miqo'te are wearing in Limsa? I must have those.

This thread is funny. One of the first things I noticed in the new Ul'dah was that a chick has taken over the "Miner's Guild" and run off all the strippers and prostitutes. Now it's an actual guild and not just a front for debauchery. Husbands throughout Ul'dah have hung up their untouched pickaxes and have nowhere to go after work now.

I blame Mayor Giulani.

They don't have names nor are they targetable. I'll have to see if they're the same models though. Anyone got a pic of them?

YES!! Save the prostitutes. I don't care about the quests lol. teaching teanagers to go out and buy women is prolly not too good. But Keep the NPC's in town at least with awesome prostitute quips.

I was saddened when I found out they'd gone. Maybe some Reindeer ... pals ... for me would be nice too.

Go Gold Bazaar, there are a couple there.

Funny thing, I don't' remember them ever getting mentioned in the MIN story. Did the Ul'dah main scenario bring them up at all? MIN quest had more to do with Nenekku and her pre-marital woes.

They just moved to La 'Noscea is all; better weather and seafood.

There is a FATE where you escort an escort to her client in Costa Del Sol.

There are a couple of miqote dancing on a pier at Costa Del Sol, directed by a formiddible female Roe. There is even a skeezy bartender lurking behind them.

I seem to remember my companion for the story line quest being quite slutty towards me as well.

There are a bunch all over Limsa now, except being a pirate town... they lure men into indiscreet locations and then mug them lol. While I'd love it if the specific prostitutes from the Miner's guild are still around somewhere, it seems the "adult" talk has spread throughout Eorzea haha. If we can't find the missing miner's guild girls in Ul'dah, maybe they moved to Limsa?

On a side note, there's a rather interesting tidbit going on in the Missing Member (the female pirate crew hq in Limsa). I don't remember the exact wording, but a young boy says "I don't think I can handle another night." Then a female pirate miqo'te says "I'm not giving you a choice. Give this boy another round of oysters." Now, oysters are traditionally believed to give a man higher... virility stats if you get my drift. I gotta say, the general pirate banter everywhere in Limsa in awesome.

Gridania still seems very clean cut though. ^^

There a F.A.T.E where you have to help a prostitutes get to a male rog then they go to a house together lol so there still around :)

This is true. Limsa has become very Female-dominant in the NPC department as compared to other cities. They'll beat you to a pulp if they don't want you... and practically tie you to a bed themselves when they do.

I love Limsa. So damned fun now.

If you read the interview with one of the dev team. It make sense that Gridania is very clean cut. They talk very clean English and that why i love Grid so much :)

While I kinda assumed people into Asian dramas or anime would know what it was, this of course isn't most people. I'm curious how many people here had no idea why they were crouching like that?

I think SE assumed non-Japanese wouldn't know what an Asian "thug squat" was so the npcs say something like "why are we sitting like this?" and "can't we find some chairs?" which I actually thought was kinda weak sauce... it takes away from how badass they are! We need more "The seven hell's YOU looking at, ehhhh?" or "Keep starin' and I'll cut off YOU'RE member." Anyone know what the original Japanese text says?

It appears they will, Majidah.
Don't quite have first-hand experience to tell, but a friend of mine seems to indicate that the new owner... USED to dance on the stage herself back in the old guild. (which I guess is a bit of BS she got tired of at the time)

A Dancer and the only female character I remember seeing at the miners guild. She also took you to Black Brush in an instanced quest and was a key part in the whole little girl and the Thaum guy that got thrown under the bus for the opening battle scene.
I can't remember any 'female owner' of the miners Guild bar.
