As I said before - Viera didn't take off too much, as far as I noticed. Looking at our FC (we got a small Group of 14 People) only three changed to Viera. We got a bunch of cats, Aura, lalafell and even a two elezen and a hyur.

Definitely face 1, corners of the mouth are down turned. Face 2 has the crazy eyeslashes. Face 3 is the youngest looking. Face 4 can be harsh looking, but it has the tribal looking tattoo.

People buying a whole full game don't have money for a fantasia? Nah but I get the point. I tried Viera but honestly the whole hair thing triggers me. I've spent real money, played PVP and saved MGP just to get all the hairstyles I have so not playing a race which locks them from me.

I see female Vieras in about 80% of my parties, especially in the leveling dungeons, in shadowbringers, though male Hrothgar are kinda rare

When I was WAY young. As a teenage, I remember falling in love with old games like Red Alert 2, Diablo 2, uh some others. Anyways. When I saw an expansion come out. I'd save money for like 6 months just to afford it. So I could see how people can afford an expansion, but not have the money or justify a fantasia.

Of course now that I'm older and have money. I find myself throwing money at loot-crates like an idiot. But what can you do!

The lacking hairstyle thing bugs me, because there's one hairstyle I use for ALL of my races, and Viera just doesn't have it. It's a short tomboyish one.

The thing that really kills me is Viera not having black eyebrows with blonde-hair. If I go blonde as a viera I look like I don't have any eyebrows at all, and it makes me cry inside. So now I just go blackhair.

Overall, I'm really enjoying it though. And when I get into a duty and tower above everyone else. I just light up inside. Large and in charge!

I see more rabbits than cat girls on Leviathan in the ShB zones.

It's probably that resting bunny face they all have...

Sometimes I feel weird running dungeons as a female midlander hyur. No tail... no horns... no pointy/animal shaped ears... no obvious breast augmentation...

I'm on primal and I see a LOT of Vieras on duties. Also plenty on my server (Behemoth).
While it doesn't really ruin the game for me, I do cringe at the almost-naked/skimpy viera dancers everytime I see one, and there are a LOT of these. You also get this with Miqotes and Au'ras, of course, but the racial Viera gear helps the skimpy crowd.
Of course, I've seen a lot of cool Vieras too.

On Cerberus I can barely turn a corner without seeing a mob of bunnys. Even seen two bunnymoblies.

Seen a pretty even split on new Hrothgar and Vieras on Diabolos. It's been a nice influx of visual diversity mixing in and I've seen them in all areas of the game. I'm sure that some folk will change back after some test driving, but it's been neat seeing all the looks folks have been coming up with. I'm tempted to go Hrothgar myself since I love beast races, but am really attached to my fem Roe so I may just do an alt for a cat boi.

Have seen many.

Assume there would be many more if they gave free fantasias and didnt lock it to female only.

also, unlike Au'Ra, bunnygirl is a known thing. You either know you want to be a bunnygirl or you know you dont, and due to the above, if you arent gung-ho about being one, you probably arent spending $ to give it a try.

I am really curious about race distribution across worlds and not just servers. I've seen a good representation of hrothgar running around and plenty of bunnies.

Hmm thought I'd try to make a viera to try one and...can't make it or the hrothgar from character selection? Can we only use fantasia to swap race?

I think that's only a problem with Veena because they have shorter thiner eyebrows compared to rava.

That the problem with playing a human in a fantasy setting. It seems everyone else gets the cool stuff and you're just... human.

I see a ton of em. An annoying amount actually, seeing as even the shortest Viera is still tall as Heck compared to the tallest cat girl so they stand out in a crowd. And their lack of hats and hair styles make em less diverse compared to other races seeing as everyone wants to make a pretty human.

Maybe its a server thing? I also really like the amount of hrothgar I see but I have heard of people talking about how they're the only one they ever see.

I already play a female Highlander, so I didn't feel like I'd gain anything by changing her to a Viera. She's already a gorgeous Amazon, so... yeah, not much of anything to gain by changing her to another gorgeous Amazon race.

I see a few female Viera on my server, but not quite as many as I was expecting. I don't think I've seen very many Hrothgar at all in the wild. The only Hrothgar I remember seeing was in a duty roulette, in fact.

I noticed in my duty roulettes, I was almost always the only Viera! I got a duty with two Miqos, lady and dude, and then a female Au'ra. I felt very tall during that party.

I have seen many, but they really bother me. I like seeing more races. I am also seeing more Hrothgar than I expected. Both are great imo. I myself changed two of my alts into Vieras, though not permanently. I used one of their free fantasias they had to change and they still one left for when I change them back. And I made a Hrothgar alt as I didn't have any character I wanted to change into one, however may be awhile before I get around to leveling him. The gender lock doesnt bother me as much as I thought it would.

Only a greenhorn, but I admit that I would actually waver between Viera (after buying Shadowbringers) with the obvious Dancer choice and my current Au'Ra lady. On the one hand, I would like to try new races and seeing the starter storyline as I'm playing mainly for the story, but on the other hand, "forcing" myself through "more" dungeons than I must is not exactly a selling point in my - admittingly rather weirdo - playing style, even though that probably wouldn't mattter for the Viera-Dancer combination due to the higher starting level. Fortunately, I have still a looooong way to go before making a clear decision.

Strangely or not, I haven't seen too many in the early zones, probably because most players started with the "advanced" jobs, but of course in the (over)crowed main cities, you seem them more frequently.

I feel like I've seen more and more since EA. Though I have mixed feelings because I feel like we lost a lot of elezen to viera :') Not gonna blame them because I considered it too, but it's still a little sad.

On Zodiark I have seen loads of buns all in either thot glams or that racial gear.

I find the bolded a highly probable factor, along with no free fanta. I don't like female lizards, and the feedback I get from players (who are usually massive weebs) when I questioned just why is that they want to be small and cutsey wootsy without being lalas.

By what metric are we basing this from? Your opinion? I see plenty of Viera around on a daily basis—which is why you shouldn't base something like this on anecdotal evidence.

Plenty of Viera and Hrothgar on my server. I tried Viera for a few hours, but they seemed a bit...plastic? I don't know something rings artificial with them. I went Hrothgar and I am never looking back. Hrothgar is a little rarer on Faerie, but I am loving how unique we all are. Adore mine.

I have seen more people memeing about "OMG SO MANNY BUNNIES" than actual bunnies.

I'm not in Shadowbringers yet but there are a lot of Viera and Hrothgar in the areas before the expansion and in duty finder.

During EA I saw more Hrothgar but by this point I'm seeing more Viera.

Honestly from what I've seen of their emotes does tempt me to fantasia, but I've grown attached to my Au Ra. If only she could have a slightly taller max height.

I see a fair amount of both new races on a regular basis. Still half thinking about changing, but undecided.

Their noses need urgent plastic surgery!
