I like the name being tossed about in the stream chat:

Soundbringers. I will be calling this expansion that from now on.

No sound is preferable to the screeching ear drum blowing sound earlier in the stream. I feel bad for whomever is in charge of the sound.

WHM drank some redbull and got wings xD

so.... What exactly did they do with BLM? Some of the QoL changes are definitely welcomed, but to a relatively skilled player, they don't make a huge impact. 2 Fouls is pretty cool.... but again, to a relatively skilled player, you'll never miss a foul. I kinda hope they didn't show everything new about BLM, otherwise not much changed.

Well it was kinda out of place now that we can summon instantly and switch through all the different egi primals. Better it's gone in all fairness.

But the mobility and cooldown refresh really made things flow with the fight mechanics T^T

War lost dps stance and buff allies. Thats about it. I feel slightly shafted this time around. DRG, MCH and DRK were cool.

This is a good thing for dps, no more exclusions and plus BRD and MCH don’t have DRG as a ball and chain.

SMM: Insta pets with no known current cost till detailed notes, another demi on top of bahamut annnnnd only two aethers..... Welp, when's Beast master, seeing it's clear it is no longer really a pet class.

They are definitely streamlining combat a good bit. Way, way more than I had anticipated. This will have its pros and cons but we'll have to see how things play out.

Dark Arts is being removed. *Tears of happiness*

I missed the part about Ninja changes. What are they going to do to Ninja in 5.0?

With all these changes, it almost seems like they're trying to speed the combat up a bit and make it a little less intimidating for newer players.
