But I think what people are worried about is the "dumbing down" of healer DPS. I'm not so keen to dive into this topic because I don't feel SCH is more engaging because it has 57 DoTs. It does not mean they won't be able to do some questing, just that it will be boring. And it already is if you main healer : any MSQ instance /fight where you play a healer, it's boring.

Can we all stop complaining about how White mage is going to be useless now?

This video isn't a particularly good reference point to go off as there's a lot of glaring mistakes right out of the gate.

For example, repeatedly calling the Afflatus heals oGCDs when unless I'm horridly mistaken, they are very clearly on the GCD (aka Regen).

Please don't take this as me hating on WHM though. It's certainly not dead on arrival with these changes. Rather it feels like we got the kit we should have had in 4.0 and little else.

All healers are going to be useless now...

The point of the video was to show the skills. I ask that you don't shine a light on the unimportant stuff because it's a waste of time for the both of us.

WHM did comparatively ok all told. Losing Aero III is a bit of a shame but eh. Larryzaur probably should have covered the changes to Holy as they are quite significant as well.

Exactly. The attempt to dumb down and over-simplify the jobs is a big problem between the three healers. It's uncreative, bland, and to be honest--I'm dreading the change.

No because most healers dont care that much about healer meta and happy to sit there and over heal 100% the time

Listen if I didn't over heal you, you would be at 98% health right now. Be grateful. I'm wasting all this mp for YOU.

Sounds like to me Yoshi needs to start listening to more than just the Japanese player base. To make a game work and not have it die you have to listen to the whole worlds players base and not just one. Pretty bad doesn't listen to NA player base when its bigger than the JP player base. Just expecting in 5.0 huge queue times for everything.

I love that they used the excuse that they couldn't add a new healer because they had to balance the healers we had.

Like, anyone could add another healer now, it's never been easier. They all fit the same blueprint.

EXACTLY. So disappointing. 5.0 will be the worst patch ever.

It's not even a rework.
WHM still the same : no raid utility, no barrier AOE, can't move while dpsing.
SCH and AST have lost both identity and got nerf in a certain way.

Didn't they want to homogenized the healers that all have access to heal and shields ?
WHM will have no shields.
AST shields can't be stack with SCH (the benefits to use neutral sect with a SCH alongside ?) and can't use them freely together.
SCH has still strong shields + now strong heals.

Unbelievable, that SE didn't bring a true rework (excepted for mana lol), didn't fixed the issues with their changes and downgrade so badly two excellent jobs to match WHM instead to bring this last to their level...

Healers are basically the "ill heal you and tab out until your health is low to heal you again" now.
A lot of people wont mind that xD
