With the addition of the Palace of the Dead appraisal system...what can we expect to receive from it in the future? I like the idea of getting a random reward for doing "random" content within content. Could the reward pool be expanded to ever include the lv 1 any class gear from 1.0? Kecks for glamour on all classes would be nice.
What are/were the limitations holding you and this particular content back from expanding in the future? (If any.)
Dungeon armor sets in 3.4 use the title of Valkyrie...yet the Berserker set from 3.3 visually meets the description of vikings yet that set doesn't use the title Valkyrie? The helm and the outfit pieces all meet the theme of nordic warriors. Why would the lore(?) team use these incorrectly? Or what is the modeling team?
Will we ever see Kuribu armor? It'd be nice to see old world / Magi inspired equipment and lore.
I think 3.4 pleased a lot of FF9 fans, thanks to A11 boss (and something in Hildi story).
However, why did the localisation team decide to call the boss "Cruise Chaser" instead of "Ark" ? Maybe it's even the case in Japanese ?
I mean, I know that Ark himself is a reference to a really old Square game called "Cruise Chaser Blassty".
But wouldn't it have been better to use its usual Final Fantasy name ?
Will it be possible for us to mirror either the hairstyle or the headgear?
Can we please get an Ark/Cruise Chaser mount?
Why do you insist on using a housing system that is so limited in availability when you could use one of the infinitely better options other MMOs have already pioneered? It seems counter intuitive to design so much housing content and then arbitrarily limit the audience that can partake in it.

Will we get more quests involving the miqo'te kids from the Wonderous Tails?
Right now it seems that FATEs come into play more with seasonal events, but outside of those events (Yoi-Ki-Watch) at a high level there isn't any real gain from running a fate.
Are their any plans to add Tombs or other drops from FATES for players who are at level cap? Not that I'm asking to do only FATEs, it just seems silly that the only way to keep players engaged with them is with these events or Relic weapons.

I have a question about some of the music of 3.4. The music of Xelphatol resembles a theme from Tchaikovsky symphony no. 5. Was that at all intentional?
I have friends who I am afraid to recommend Final Fantasy 14 to because of the extremely linear and long (PLUS mandatory) main story quests, thus I most often than not play alone or with very few others. If somehow the MSQ (apart from dungeons) could be easily skipped (and without getting any of the rewards of course) I am sure I would be able to recommend the game easier. They all play World of Warcraft because of it's freedom and alternatives to how you unlock certain things. Will something ever be done about this? Also, having to go through hundreds of quests just to unlock the ability to play an Expansion you've bought with real money is tedious and frustrating, especially for new players that want to join high-lvl content. I have friends who can play only a few hours a week, having to go through MSQ:s would take months for them before being able to play with us.
(Edit: I have friends, whom I recommended the game to, that have quit playing because they can't get through the MSQ.)
I have two questions. The first is that even if we're done with Ishgard, will we still be able to have some kind of scene with Edmont? It's just that we had patches that involved his sons and they both changed for the better, I was just wondering if we could have something like that with Edmont as well? I felt that he had become something like a second father to the scions and I think that it would be a good way to end Heavensward. Maybe something to think about for 3.5? And second, is that we now know that there are other worlds out there, if the warriors of darkness are from the first, which one is Eoreza? And will we be seeing more warriors from other worlds?
Will you consider having beast tribes that are for just gatherers miner, botanist, fisher. In the future?
In the various mmo I've been playing, I nearly always ended up as a mitigation tank. Those other mmo also had tank killing/cripling/crits mechanic that were linked to a defensive stat. If you had enough of that stat, the hit became a normal high HP damage strike. if you didn't you received some nasty debuff like 20% armor value reduction (stacking), enmity reduction, automatic crits from boss... Please not that this is in addition to any tank swapping mechanic the boss might have.
Do you plan to implement mechanic such as crushing blow in the future and use parry as a defensive stat to protect against such mechanic ?
An other use for parry could be to reduce tanking CD (only) and increase mob damage output. so staking parry will allow you to use your defensive CD more often. You could still go for a dps tank, but your healer will clearly feel it.
With Xelphatol being a dungeon in the latest patch, does this mean that these beast-tribe regions (such as Paglth'an) are not planned to become open-world regions in expansions?
Probably. It likely that once we are finished with Ala Migho we have to go into Garlemald, the heart of the empire to deal with them once and for all, and that there are places in Hydaelyn that have potention for the plor of the expansions afterward, such as Sharlayan, Othard and alternate dimesnions, so getting the Beastmen strongholds outta the way as dungeons would likely be they way to go.
In Aquapolis, can you add an additional "save" where when you trigger the trap and get kicked out and the screen fades to black, Yoshi-P's face would pop up and say "NO RECOMPOSE" and it will teleport you into the next room?
I know we're not supposed to be getting any more beast tribes this patch, but can you reconsider and add the little Allagan nodes from the Helix as a beast tribe? I love those little things.
Can we get a possessive /emote, like /pemote or /emotep, that would add a " 's " to the end of the user's name. Using the current /emote there would be a space after the name if you wanted to add that " 's ".

Is: Momoko Tomoko belly jiggles.
/emote 's belly jiggles.

One of the mechanical changes implemented this patch was that auto-attacks will connect in 360 degrees. If I remember correctly, the reasoning was to reduce the difference in how much skill is necessary to bring out a job's full potential between jobs that use auto-attacks and those that do not.
This is a very slippery slope, would you care to elaborate on why you felt this was an issue to begin with?
Running newer content, I find myself having more and more reasons to watch my status effects bar for specific detrimental effects. But I'm finding it troublesome to place and resize the status bar so I can see these effects. Would it be possible to split beneficial status effects and detrimental status effects into two different HUD elements?
Sometimes I see NPCs doing pushups or squats. Can we get a squat and pushup persistent emote?
Are we going to get a Moogle Mailbox outside of the Apartment complex? Would help a lot!

It appears that the Savage gear bar the exclusive weapons, are undyable. While the previous two tiers have dyable sets. I am wondering why this is the case
This patch gave us the /facepalm emote. The animation is a bit feminine though, I was really expecting a one-handed facepalm with a small head shake. What goes into deciding what kind of animation to give new emotes?
Is there a reason why there are no non-linear dungeons? Every dungeon and raid has the same formula... kill trash kill boss. I would like to see an instance or two where people can fight each boss in any order they wish and each boss drops an item that will spawn the final boss of the dungeon or something along the lines.

With the addition of 3.4, a feature was added to report RMT players in-game quickly. Less than a week into 3.4, this feature has been removed. Just when the players finally thought something was going to be done to combat the issue, it feels like that hope has been taken away from us.
Can you please tell us what will be done to combat this issue? RMT in this game has exploded, and most players I know, have filled their Black List several times over with RMT bots. The usual releasing of numbers of players/bots being banned seems to do little to address the real issue.
many FC's are experiencing theft on my server, so, i was wondering if we could get an FC member setting that limits the number of items that can be taken out of the FC bank? An example would be a low ranking member could take 2 items once per day, but someone at a high rank could take out more.
Would you consider implementing an approval team for these threads so you're not answering questions already addressed in previous live letters?
I do have one curious question, it's not 3.4 related but it's something FFXIV related. =3
When the Final Fantasy series reaches it's 30th birthday, will FFXIV be holding an in-game global event in honour of it? I know Square-Enix celebrated their 25th five years back, but would it be possible to hold a global event like that in FFXIV?

Can you please add a "D" Waymark?
Waymarks were released around the time of Twintania when there were only 3 locations needed. Now we have 4 DPS entering portals that need markings in addition to tanks calling out cardinal directions. There's a lot of battles that could now benefit from a fourth mark.
Can "Countdown" be used in-battle as well please?
When fighting Livia, it would have been helpful to turn the marks and time them properly, currently the game does not let you use this feature in battle. I imagine this could really be helpful when calling out for a limit break too!
This isn't 3.4 related in general, but please swap the levels that paladins learn shield oath and sword oath. Warrior and Dark Knight get their bonus enmity stance at 30, paladins have to wait until 40
Also, please improve Arm of the Destroyer's usability/damage a bit. It would also be nice if maintenance buffs like Greased Lightning lasted longer in Palace of the Dead, I don't feel like I can do as much as a monk compared to other classes in Palace.
