What happend to Queen's hairstyle?

I hope this looks nice on my elf. I've been waiting so long for another long hair hairstyle. I feel the one I have is like the only one that fits Elegant elves, tbh. I hope this will be a nice change.

There is a chance you won't get it within your lifetime, even if you do nothing but farm the thing.
There is a chance you get it the first time around.

Compare to, say, the Anima, where you put in a certain amount of effort (dungeons) to get guaranteed tomes for a guaranteed reward. This is doing work and putting in effort for something. The above is sheer luck. You might not have to put in any effort, you might have to put in excessive amount of effort. And that is why RNG sucks - it does not actually reward effort. Well we could argue that work without adequate reward is always bad (or do you want your chef/client come to you at the end of the month and say "well thanks for all the work you did, sorry to break it to you but you get no money because even if you don't like it, that idea is fine in general"?). Even voluntary work "rewards" you with feeling good about yourself because you helped your local community/improved someone's life/saved the world a little bit/etc.
Me farming PotD does not positively influence Eorzea in the slightest. Me farming PotD does (probably) not reward me with anything physical either (hairstyle, minions, housing stuff).
In general, people are not happy about doing something and not getting rewarded for it. So I THINK arguing "no rewards = bad" is fair game.

Otherwise, SE could just entirely take away any reward from any content at all and we could all just play for the "joy" of running through Aurum Vale for..well, nothing at all. No goodies, no progression.
Just because it's "fun"? I think a lot of content would not hold up if that were the case..:rolleyes:

If it's tradeable, that would help a lot. So long as it's market board prohibited, giving a spare one to a friend is nice, gouging people for it is not.

just run 1-10, you will have a far better chance of it dropping than in higher levels.

Has anyone figured out how to trigger Hoard chests without an intuition pom? There's an achievement for it but I haven't been able to do it NOT by accident

Just by standing where the light would be is all I figured out. I've triggered three. All at the same area. The room with a + hole, at one edge of a corner there is sometimes a hidden chest.

I got it my 3rd run...... damn i'm so lucky. Was my last bag...

I've never done any POTD. Are you guys all doing these floors (1-10) solo, or in groups?

It's easy to do 1-10 solo, but takes a while longer. Quicker to do it in a party~ ^^

sorry to tell you, as well, but i've got the Pegasus from Diadem. 99 spoils, can't reneber what type. Greed/needed on gear, turn in for spoils, get pegasus. No Rng required if you kept at it.

Took 28 runs, but I finally got it. Even hugged the Bishop. After slapping every time she didn't do it right.

I've farmed potd until the point im numb..and still no hair. But hey, at least I have a lot of confetti to throw at the Bishop every time it isn't the hair..

I soloed on smn, but it is faster in a party for sure.

I lost count to how many times I've gone in there with no luck, All I get is stupid fireworks and materia. While I love the fact that IF I ever get it I know everyone else won't have the same hair, but after two days of farming (it might be different if it was fun content) it's a bit disheartening. I tried soloing it with an average of three sacks for 1-10, and then I went in with a party with about the same results :/. There seems to be a trick to getting them to appear without a pomander.

I never heard of the place before now :O

I've done 15 floors 1-10 runs so far and aside from all the fireworks and materias, best items i had were:

-High house female body, bottoms and half boots.
-Thavnarian bustier and feet.


Hopefully i will get the hairstyle soon, i need at least 3 of them... _-_

its so frustrating getting those stupid fireworks and confetti. Can we get a middle finger emote? I'd love to spam it on the bishop ;)

I've done like 5 so far, running the first 1-10 floors as MCH/BRD isn't that bad to be honest, but when you get peach confetti, I'm ready to flip.

this hair looks pretty poopy.. all the hairs this patch are pretty poopy.. but I like the idea of it being of a drop in palace dead. we need more hard to get stuff, its more rewarding even if it looks like a plastic barbie wig

I dunno, I was thrilled to bits to FINALLY, AFTER YEARS OF HOPING, see a bun haircut that isn't exclusive to one race.

But, I'm curious if the hoard chests giving high demand vanity gear will have a notable effect on the markets.
