Slap Emote

The time I've started this thread was a hard time.
A Couple in my old FC broke up. The Male got kicked from our FC. After he got kicked he was chasing the Female all around Eorzea. The Ring, you know!
At every spot he showed up the Harassment followed the same scheme.
Slaping her, spitting in her face, throwing turd at her and other nice things. Telling her that he would rip her apart. But it all began with slaps and soon it became worse.
I've reported this Guy and things calmed down.
Not long after this episode I again saw someone slaping another Player. And I was like "No, not this again". That was the time when I started this Thread.
Time has gone by and I've seen these things over and over again. And yes, it happend to me not long ago. I got slaped twice by the same Player in PvP (Astragalos) in two different games. It happend right at the start. I didn't know this Player. He was from another Server.
Does it bother me any longer? No, not at all. You can kick, slap, spit, throw things on each other as much as you want. If it makes you happy, don't hold back.
Since the day I've started this tread, the Blacklist is a much used Feature for me.
This was my last response to this theme.

I use /slap every once in a while on a moogle, because a crafting beast tribe quest tells me too ^_^. Also it's sad how violence against females is taken as an argument, as if /slap against males was any better.

I've never seen anyone abuse emotes for anything else than spamming the chat, but I can well imagine someone doing it. Reporting those players is the way to go though, because we might as well remove the entire game since most of its features can be missused if someone is just willing enogh to try.

I realy like the idea of removing this emote. It realy annoys me every time i see it. Last week a lala slapped my char after dungeon whas finished for ??? reason (i realy dont know why). The first thing i thought whas "why cant i hit this idiot with my fist". I also see this emote quite often in global chat and like OP allready said mostly from male chars. I think we have enough others emotes, so there is no real need for this one (except playing stupid maybe).

Male characters must be male
Female characters must be female

Your character smiles while they slap people
I wonder why that is?
Also spam the emote real fast, looks like some kind of weird dance. Not like i do it but i know it and it looks pretty funny.

Theres worse things out there, the only annoying thing is if people spam the chat. No matter with what.
I'm a girl with a female character, i don't CARE what emote you use on me, i will react to it or I will not, it just depends.

Slap me and i would "kyaa" just because its funny.
I've seen people pat me way more on my lala than ever any emote before...

My girlfriend /slaps me when I say stupid things.

I wish she'd slap me harder

Remove /sulk too people punt me. And please remove /sit people t-bad my corpse.

Oh can we remove /Grovel since people hump me?

This is a bit dramatic for my taste tbh.
If someone is offending you verbally I would understand.
But this emote? It's funny. Don't let things like that have a personal effect on you.
Because you're all safe. It can't hurt you.

And from what i have seen, there are almost only male chars who are beating female chars.
You have changed the crouch emote for female miqo'te for a good reason (too sexual), so please, remove the slap emote because of unnecessary violence against female chars.

I'm not sure if this is a troll thread or a serious one, because this is the most ridiculous complaint I've ever seen. Please leave the emote alone SE, some of us actually have a sense of humor and understanding its a fantasy game. thx.

I'm not sure if there's any point quoting the OP in a thread that was made in 2015, it unlikely they are still paying attention. There really should rules against necromancy of this typ,e nothing is gained by bringing these discussions back, and most people don't realise they're replying to a 3 year old discussion.

Actually, she replied on page 17 and better explained what prompted this thread. Silly as the request was, I can appreciate why she had a knee-jerk reaction. Sounds like a "post before thinking" moment because a friend was getting harassed by her ex frequently regularly.
