is anyone else unable to connect to lobby server?

flushing dns did nothing for me sadly.

2002 errors. That is what I get for needing to eat. Does sorta suck that so often its the same servers. The ones that always crash should get a discount on their early access since we have to wait around more than the others XD

Same, i tried as well.

Woo I beat the login NM!! I got a 5006 error, flushed my cached, and tried again and logged right in.

Got past the lobby server just now after over an hour, I just hope it doesn't crash while I wait for this crazy long queue to let me in :3
Edit: aaaand it didn't. Yay! :D

The history of MMOs has been going on for more than 15 years and every single time in every single MMORPG this happens on the first day of release/add-ons.
I don't exactly get it, but no matter what they do, they always seem to underestimate the sheer amount of people willing to play their game xD

Also, well, they have to do with the hardware and personnel they have. No sudden giant servers only for patch week and stuff like that, so any kind of launch will always be kind of messy in a way :)
With 2.0, I couldn't do anything in the game for all of EA because of an unresolved bug (in the rare instance of actually being able to log in) so playing 11 hours staight today and logging on and off 3 times in between for race switches without any trouble is like a dream come true ^-^

It is not the game "servers" its the lobby server for certain data centers. That means all of a data center is affected, not just certain servers within it.

How do I flush my DNS?

Try to restart the computer, it seems the client is having some problems with cache - for some players that helped

Got back in, my party was waiting for me, we restarted the leve we were on, and I was the only one to get 90k'd this time.

Changed MTU setting to a softly smaller packet and got in

I can get into all data centers except Aether. My home data center for Balmung

I just restarted Pc after Flushing the DNS and it worked.

I was having this issue too (altho no 90k, just offline for foods), and tried switching data centres as suggested above and I can confirm Chaos (EU) worked when I switched from Aether, but still not working going back.

Just got into Balmung (Aether center)

Flushed DNS and restarted PC... still getting 2002 and now 5006 error... lol:p

yeah ive tried all of the above and it still isnt working

Well, dns flush+Change data centers worked for me.. 430th in queue though. .-. time to go cook dinner while I wait

Yeah I am taking notice of that now upon changing to other data centers. I can't even manage to get into any of the data centers now though.

I can get onto other datacenters and worlds fine, but Aether is still a nogo.

Just got into Siren on Aether.... we'll see for how long =)

Have they still not announced the problem or at least how much longer until the servers are stabilized? I mean... one hour later... hello?

Still can't get in, getting 5006 and 2002 no matter what I try. Flushed DNS, restarted computer, changed Data Center, will let me in all of them except Aether.

well changed to dx9 and it let me in queue

Changing it to DX9 did nothing for me.

If i was a mean developer I would be sitting in front of my computer watching the board and laughing at every post that says "try to.....! it works!" :D :D :D

Tried the methods mentioned and I'm still getting the 2002 error for Aether.

omg I logged out for just a sec to switch something and now I can't log back in. :C

Well... im done thinking its something on my end. Its honestly not anything on anyones end. Just keep trying every hour. Just a shame it was working for 5 hours earlier and then I go to take a shower and now I can't connect. *shrug

I got DC in a cutsecne. My friends are online playing on Gilg. shows my character as logged in and not AFK so it wont kick me off server. I think that is the problem people are experiencing.. sad they havent commented onthe issues yet.

Finally got in. It seems persistence pays off. :p

Hehe same, I've been so fortunate that the launch happened 11am where I live, so I've been playing most of the day. I just feel sorry for people who haven't been able to play until now.

Also, just as I typed that message I got in, maybe complaining enough here will help ?? (probably not but ya know)
