A lot of posts in GD
It amuses me how many people are butthurt at seymores post. His opinion is just that. His opinion, and he has every right to have it. People who personally attack him are way worse
Because people are petty regardless of what people tell you about the community.
So that's my cringe thing is how people constantly prop up this community like it's God's gift to games. Let people decide that for their own and don't show them your forums because holy crap. I got banned for 200 hours for defending someone who got bullied for having anxiety. And yes I was being a bully to the bully, but you don't do that to people. That's really going to help them overcome their anxiety being a jerk to them. Anyway I'm rambling.
Ok. Why are so many of you obsessed with looking unique? This is so weird, I've never had that thought in all my days glamming my wol or checking out others like, "oh I bet they think they are unique" ?????
WHAT LMAO
do people seriously make glams with that in mind?
Opinions can be criticized, and discussed, if someone is personally going after him that's clearly no good, but pointing out why it's kind of rude and in a some aspects a little hypocritical isn't something bad, likewise he and other can respond to those who have something to say about his post. And yeah it'll rile people up, a lot of people fit his criteria, they have the right to respond too
Same, I don't get why that matters, dress your character how you want to, not about what's popular or not lol
Is 2B bottoms used a lot? Yeah, if you wanna use them use them, if you don't, then don't, I feel like worrying about what's "unique" or not is really silly, just do what you personally enjoy.
You may wanna check this tweet out then. The slaughter is quite aggressive over here.

Honestly if I was this dude, I'd just change my in-game name and race until heat dies down. It's one thing to get dragged on a forum that a small fraction of players frequent on a daily basis, it's another to have your face and FC you're in plastered on Twitter for everyone else to put on blast. God knows some of the people over there might be petty enough to find this dude and harass him in-game, especially if the exposure continues.
A lot of items are popular because they look good and people like to wear good looking items. If someone avoids popular items and colors, they often end up just looking bad and/or forgettable. Yes you can be unique by wearing vendor gear from 3 expansions ago and dyeing it yellow and brown but you'd also look like you forgot to reapply your actual glam after Fashion Report.
Thats what I call taking it waaaaay to far.
on a side note, I really like his glam myself haha. Im not a fan of modern day casuals glams, or overly sexualized either tbh, but people can do whatever they want. Other than shoving the word "female" into everything, I honestly don't see what the problem with his post was, other than being a unpopular opinion
People who assume everyone online who speaks English is from US or UK.
And people from US who act high and mighty over non americans who don't like american voice acting like they do and have no issues reading subtitles.
Or anyone who acts high and mighty over anyone for liking anime, tv shows, genres of games, genres of music, languages, you name it. This topic really shows the true cringe. The PETTINESS of some people.
Weaboos make you cringe? Furries make you cringe? RPers make you cringe? People not wearing glamour make you cringe?
Get over your freaking selves.
Honestly, Elitist mindset of some people here and on reddit, that whenever you suggest a QoL of a certain aspect of a job is suddenly a "dumbing down" suggestion, when it wouldn't change the skill ceiling in the slightest, but would improve the life of the skill floor.
Feedback towards the game, no matter the subject, being taken as a personal attack by a handful of posters even when it is entirely constructive and civil.
Yeah. Like I said earlier in the thread, this started with him. Any heat that was thrown his way on the forums was of his own making. But Twitter roasting? Come on now. Even though I vehemently disagreed with just about all of what they had to say, I can recognize when something has been taken way too far. And it has. Thanks to Twitter. THE cesspool of toxicity and ignorance.
People with obnoxious rez macros
The fact that 2b boots give Viera clown feet
NERF OUR FEET SE.
cringe is when people get upset about women and gender-nonconforming players playing the game in whatever outfit they want and then mocking said women/players. your bigotry is showing lol
The constant pandering to female characters and lack thereof for males.
OMG, it's still going!
What I gleaned from this thread:
Some of y'all need to learn to mind your own business.
not like a name and racechange will do him any good considering the forum name and lodestone ID stays the same - and we all know how just how nice this community can be to people they don't like for whatever reason
also, imagine malding so hard over a forum post that you create an account just to dunk on him, heck, it's sadder than the post in question
I feel bad for the guy some people are harassing- I don't agree with his views but that doesn't mean I need to attack him. When did having different views mean people can't just agree to disagree with an OPINION? Just leave the poor guy alone already :/
I find a twitter account that just posts forum snippets to be kinda cringe. Regardless of how you feel about the post, nothing says low-key targetted harassment than an account that does nothing but repost takes they don't like for their followers.
And sometimes there is nothing between the lines. You understand that, right? Not every single thing anyone says needs to be decoded for a secret, underlying, "problematic' message.
He said he doesn't like specific glamours and since then, people have been literally creating forum accounts just to attack the guy. You will NEVER come off as a "good guy" to me when you are so adamantly trying to destroy this guy for something you interpretted yourself.
Some things just are. He said he doesn't like certain glamours and character styles. You, and others like you, decided there were lines to read between that say he is a horrible misogynist. Grow up.
Yeah. I said my piece and basically left it at that. I expressed my discontent with his post, had a small back and forth and that was the end of it. I'm both surprised and unsurprised that it has gone as far as it has. On one hand yeah, I think he deserved some flack on the forums. But he didn't deserve to be called out on Twitter, which led to harassment in game and probably elsewhere for all we know. That was just someone being petty. If someone has a hot take on these forums there's usually some drama that follows, but it usually never leads to...this. This is too much. At this point I find myself wanting to defend the guy.
The person in question, though his post was a lil meh, has earned my respect. The way he has taken this berating and harassment should be recognized. He’s definitely taking the high ground while so many of you go low.
You don’t have to agree with his views, but so many of you can learn from him.
I say the people who posted about him first on Twitter should get suspensions, and be held accountable for any of the harassment that follows. They took it to Twitter(a cesspool at the best of times) in the first place, knowing what was likely to follow. And if they didn't know what was to follow...what rock under a rock under a rock were they under for the last decade?
