I wore my Wedding Dress to the dinner....do you think I was being too forward? :x
My boyfriend was not happy with that though I think I pissed him off lol....or it might have been when they said in the scene text that I can "unburden myself" and I loudly exclaimed "OH YEAH I'LL UNBURDEN MYSELF. ON AYMERIC'S BED!" ...yeah it might have been that..
Meanwhile, all of us straight guys think of nothing but "Please, please, give us that magnificent blue sword as a reward for some quest"
I mean, have you guys even seen it?

While he said anything you wear is okay, I'm having nice dinner with him... with my current gear...
Well the dinner was nice for all those that like/love Aymeric and yet I was just like "can it be over please, I have no interest in you" and after that I was again just sad since I cant have such a nice dinner with the one I truly care about..*sob* But I do agree that he is one sexy elezen and I am kinda jealous of his sexy hair...Can we have his hairstyle please SE!
Lol I wore my wedding dress also. It's the only nice dress I own.
Not really into dudes so no, does nothing for me. He is a well written character though, but the story itself is well done.
I have yet to do the 3.4 storyline (originally I waited because I hate doing the story when 800 people are standing around doing the same, just ruins my immersion..), but now I'm just waiting because I'm torn to proceed with this dinner everyone is talking about xD
I want this so badly..but if I do it, it's over
Edit: Okay, I finally did it. I'm not so desperate that I would..I mean, that wedding dress was JUST because my 500 other beautiful dresses weren't quite beautiful enough...it's not like I spent 2 hours at the barber and finding the perfect outift..I would never want to romance a charac- OMG PLEASE MARRY ME SER AYMERIC (♥︎~♥︎)
*clears her throat*
Ahem. Nothing to see here, move along ^^°
So...anyone else really hoping that he'll start a Grand Company of Ishgard soon, so that we can serve under him (think about the gear we'd get too!)
While neither I nor my character is into guys (Balipu wants Yugiri but is leaning towards Alisae after her recent development) I still think that Aymeric is one of the most awesome NPCs we have. He is easily the most active of the city state leaders and still thanks us all the time for our help.
Him asking us to join him for dinner needn't be anything romantic, I think he was just trying to be nice and express his gratitude.
...I do enjoy that we can "..." and "Must I?" when it comes to him trying to reach out to us, though. I always choose those options just because I am curious how the game will respond.
Aymeric is certainly one of the smoothest and most charismatic characters. I almost hoped he'd become King, rather than seeing Ishgard reformed into a Republic. At this point I'd just be happy to see a new Archbishop come into the scene who is actually a decent person, and serves in an advisory capacity, so Aymeric can go out and do Grand Company things with an Ishgard Grand Company.
Hold on Aymeric, currently you are the only prince-like guy keeping companion with the Warrior of Light.
Haurchefant gone, Estinien missing, Alphinaud is a child I don't want to commit crime, Thancred is weeping for Minfilia with his single eye. Urianger? He just wore his mask back.
All the romantic fantasy bonded, as idol of the whole Ishgard, you are busy, very busy.
When you were finally free to ask me to dinner, I saw you flying a kite. You tried to ask about me, but never gave a clear promise.
Keep on, keep on. Keep on your ploughing around, until SE carries out another prince. (Sigh
I'm genuinely surprised opening a GC in Ishgard wasn't part of the bill when we were promised some more stuff would be added to the current roster. The timing is right, and it would make economical sense to retool the army of Ishgard now that the "kill dragons on sight!" isn't a deal.
Even if Aymeric wasn't the leader, Lucia exists as a possibility.
But, I guess since it would (/gasp) removing the 3 pronged GC PVP restrictions to work...
While his eyes and locks are lovely, am I the only one bothered with how his lips look like.

I don't see what's wrong with his lips °-°
I am so glad I did not play female character because a lot of females I know that play female characters saying that Final Fantasy is making a warrior of light to be nothing but a common bar room floozy bouncing from man to man instead of doing their job being Warriors of light from Haurchafant. To Aymeric what next Cid ?
It is so sad to see how the producers of Square Enix and yoshi-p view females nothing more than barroom floozies which is a sweet way of saying a tramp , the warrior of light is supposed to be a servant of God a servant of the mother Crystal saving the world not bouncing from man to man living in a bar-room jumping from bed to bed they say you can tell a game developers personality by the content of their game it is sad to see how they view females especially when all of them look like children why are all of the characters that the warrior of light or with are in their mid thirties and forties boy that really says a lot are there personality on how they view females especially young teenagers
I would prefer to play as Kan E at least she is not some type of bar room floozy and more deserving of the title of warrior of light
I don't think tyrantdragon is playing the same game as us.
Ooooooooookaaaaayyyy.....
As a female gamer using a female ingame character - not once has my character ever been treated like a 'floozy'. In fact - I get the exact same cutscenes as male characters.
So what are you on about?
Thats a really messed up rant you posted. I think you need help.
nope. Not the only one lol
I know right I live here in America to where stuff like that would be a criminal offence but it really does say a lot about the director's personality and how he views females in America every day as females we are constantly scrutinized and looked on as sex objects and we do not need to be viewed like that by playing a game us females have to deal with this type of crap everyday at work at school and the last place we need it is coming from some perverted director spouting off the same stuff looking as us females as nothing but sex toys and viewing us all as young teenagers while they are old men
I'm not sure if you're trolling or serious... but I'm going to go with you need to calm down. If anything don't you think it's the ladies making Ser Aymeric into a sex object here? I mean he's an animated figure so I don't really think he'll mind but more to the point, I in no way feel this from anything that happens in this game. This is one of the most toned down games I've played (MMO's especially) in the sexualization of females department. Given that the cutscenes are the same for all, it obviously depends on the individual what they get out of it. I'll have you note, I'm fairly certain there are at least a few men in this thread that also felt the "connection" Ser Aymeric may have been trying to make with the warrior of light. There are also obviously many who do not get that out of it what so ever. So I think we all need to take a deep breath and remember we're all here for fun. Personally if your rant some how takes away the possibility of another dinner date with Aymeric in the future I will be very displeased.
Even JP Haurchefant isn't quite that unsubtle; he merely says there's a warm bed waiting for you . . .
Ah, Ser Aymeric. Voiced by the ever charming Blake Ritson. Who also did voice work in Dark Souls and Dragon Age Inquisition.
If you Google his abs, you get some NSFW images of him in DaVinci's Demons. Enjoy.
If anything, I find it worrying how your own opinion of women is obviously tied to an antiquated view of "purity". In case you didn't know: women have sexuality too.
But for some reason it only bothers you that female WoLs could potentially sleep around, not one mention of the male characters. So if anything, this rant showed your own sexist views
(that said, female and male characters recieve the exact same cutscenes and dialouge, as others have pointed out, so I don't even see where your anger comes from)
I was not sure how exactly he expresses it, I was looking for the thread that mentioned it, but he says something like that.
