Sorry to see the two of you go! Being a model and trying to find that perfect shot is really hard! Not everyone is going to like the shot the same and I hope to see the two of you competing again (Then I can either mentor or judge you in a new round! You're both good and if I end up as a mentor I plan to REALLY try and see both sides of things to try and help models grow and realize risks) I know I took some risks in my shots and I'm hoping for the best, but if you join YouTube next time and I'm a mentor I'll be working hard to make sure everyone is the best they can be! And also remember that the judges may be the final say, but they aren't the only say! If YOU can say your happy with a shot, maybe that's all you really need!

I was looking forward to seeing you grow, Katarh! I'd love to see what you've come up with for future rounds and next time you'll get farther, I'm sure! I'll put in extra effort to critique your future shots so you'll be phenomenal next competition!

Tinsley, you're a great model, and sometimes the risks we take will pay off and sometimes they don't... I'm sorry this one didn't work out for you because I'm sure, like Epsil, your future shots will be even more amazing! Eliminations are so hard >_< It just takes being weak in comparison to others once and they'll pounce! It happens to the best of us and it would be great if everyone can be a winner, but competitions aren't like that sadly. Still want to see more of you!

Tinsley you are actually one of my all-time favourites. Your work in Cycle 2 was breathtaking. But maybe as I said in my video, the contest is evolving and sometimes it feels every new cycle is even harder competition.
Katarh, you show great promise! From my side there are mostly nitpicks about the composition mostly. You show good sense with your concepts. Keep working at it and you'll be great I'm sure!
Edit because I take so long writing and being distracted: Oooh congrats on the job Katarh! With both you and Tinsley judging, I am now a touch scared my critiques will come bite me in the near future. XD

Haha I have a tiny tapir too too, but I have special affection for my wind up qiqirn .. I won it in an FC contest and right after I completed my very first glamor (which gets a reprise in the YT2 cycle ,, please look forward to it !! ))

Alright, three judges have finished their COOs, and we've already seen our first casualty with Round 1 Elimination.

Still waiting on 4 Judges to finish, and they are all at random spots throughout the rounds.

Edit: The Judges have been assigned their first Recording Assignments! :O YT2 is really starting to kick off!

Update: We have decided to throw the Premier Party on the 7th of June, on the Coeurl Server in Limsa Lominsa from 7pm to 10pm Central!

The Meet The Models episode will be released, and I am hoping to have the first episode out that night as well (after the party, so that no one is eliminated during the party itself). Due to this, there will not be a Preview of Round 1 in the Meet The Models episode.

I hope this isn't taken wrong.. I'm posting this to answer points that our beautiful judges mentioned; I only mean to let them know that I've looked at what they said and considered how to put their feedback to use in the future.

Adam - I was originally going to use the Garlean set but after an hour of waiting for someone to join my party finder and a couple tells letting me know that basically everyone threw their set out I moved on to creating something that could pass as Garlean armor. What I settled on was supposed to look like what Garlean soldiers another rank or so higher than the grunts we see would wear, perhaps styled to suit the legion they would normally be serving in (I pretended they were people that came along with my Legatus.) I agree about the sky; by the time I got those four on the scene and dressed and all it was super late and I had to take what I could get. I was hoping it being a solid color could keep if from adding clutter. If I did the shot again I'd like a stormy sky! >:D Thanks for the feedback!

Flare - Thank you! That wall was pretty ugly, eh? In response to the earlier fanvotes mentioning this I went back to the scene of the crime to confirm that the issue was what I proposed with my sleep-deprived brain. It was indeed an issue stemming from the /cpose that I chose; he actually ends up off-center after he shifts. So lining him up with the background meant not lining up with the foreground. I will keep this in mind in the future when choosing poses. OwO

Sakuraya - Yes, we have delicious badguys cookies! You perfectly got my concept! TwT <3 You do indeed read a smirk! I knew I was coming in with very little skin showing due to my keeping with (what I percieved as) Garlean Superior Officer dress so I threw in a sadistic smirk. >w< Off-center issue addressed above. OuO> Thank you so much for perfectly getting what I was going for!!!!!

Rhaya-chan! You brought up a ton of good points! I actually did something similar to what you proposed but when compared to what I submitted it completely lacked impact, my character had very little presence. Plus, facing away from the building I couldn't capitalize on the gloriously evil red glow. The angle: I settled on this particular angle because to me it gave the impression of imminent doom, a looming storm cloud, a powerful leader drowning you in his presence-while still showing the extras. The helmet was a necessary evil to make the character plausible as a high ranking Garlean officer in my opinion. Thank you for your feedback. OwO
