At first I was kinda disappointed with the face options but in the end I found a setting I liked. :)
It's kind of hard to take decent screenshots in the benchmark because the first 5 minutes are mostly random people and flying.

Man, Xaela seems to be the popular one for the male side.
Red skin goes so well with the Raen scales.

Log in to the game, right click your characters name and pick save appearance data. Then you should be able to load it with the benchmark.

yes you can, do the above with the addition of clicking on create and choosing "Load Appearance Data" then save your imported character by hitting the check(tick) mark. and it will become chooseable in the drop down box under the word Dragoon. once you do that you can choose any gear that is in the list and hit confirm and that character will then show in much of the benchmark cutscenes.

Had a little go, but im torn between the Dark succubus looking Au Ra or the light priestess style (considering im a whitemage i was going to look all light and goody)

The males look ok but i think they could of been more beefier or more towards dragons.

Also why is it the face paint doesn't have a slider for opacity...light is pretty much not there and dark is almost 100% opacity.

At first I went a bit with my current character's theme.. that didn't really work so I changed it to what you see below.. The white scales just didn't work so they went blue and the blue/black theme is born!

It's very disappointing that the horns are tied to the choice of face - I didn't like this face but all the other horns were horrible. I wanted her to look badass, not all doll-like. :/

Great song but on a serious not I wish they'd let us console people play around with this so we can save the data so we can switch faster on early access.

I always use black hair or brown hair with some black tint in mine. This'll be about what I'll be going for. Unsure about the eye colours though...It's tough.
