Stuck in loadin screen.

The instance server being crashed isn't the problem here really... SE, just get us into the game, I don't care if I can't do any duties(well I do, but I rather be able to do something than nothing)

I'm also stuck :(

I'm glad you're sure. We're not. That's why we'd love for them to say a word about this, so we know they're at least working to fix this mess.
Without an official aknowledgement, we're just left here for whoever knows how long, potentially the whole day.

I've asked them to acknowledge it the rep said he would pass forward my request.

At least, they can return characters to their previous locations and lock the DF until it repaired. At least you can play even if you cannot do any duty. But not let them in the limbo of load screen.

They need implement a mechanics which in case of instance servers down, the character return automatically to his/her previous location. At least that. Still we can farm light in maps and FATEs... but no just lef in this situation indefinitely...

its a good estimate that the amusement that I am getting from seeing how badly SE is handling this, is more than the enjoyment that I would have gotten by being home, logging in, and getting stuck.

as an IT person, and a former incident management specialist, just a message that its broken would help the situation. don't even need any information on it...

I really do wonder how they could have missed the fact that the instance servers may get overloaded and not made preparations for it, oh well, stuck on the loading screen for King Mog for about an hour so far.

Another instance of being stuck in a primal loading screen along with a fellow player. Hope to see results soon...

Also stuck. Created my first alt to see if it was just my particular server, then came here. Good to see I'm not alone!

Same as you. I'm IT worker too. And this is enough to start dismiss people... The first thing you must do in this situations is always notify the problem.

ANd this is ridiculous. Are users who are notifying the problem, and not SE.

Me and 5 guilders stuck, 4 going into wos and one in a mission. One phoned support and they said "they can do nothing" gg SE gg.

Stuck too entering Syrcus Tower. Me and 3 more in party with me. Server Ragnarok.

Guys, we have gotten confirmations from them that they are working on it... not any official posts, which is kinda bad, but at least we know they are doing it...

It's in a thread about Gold Saucer congestion I know, but he clearly knows about the loading screen problem, and they are investigating it.

He last posted almost an hour ago though, so who knows what's happening.

I was being sarcastic. My point is that the people responsible for interacting with the community and assuaging the concerns of people who have been locked out of the game for hours have neither the responsibility nor the ability to fix these problems themselves. Consequently, anyone who claims that they can't post any sort of notice or statement because they're just too busy fixing it is just brown-nosing.

Been stuck on the loading screen for almost an hour and a half at this point.

I've stuck as well I'm on Shiva, was trying to do T4

2 hours stuck, honestly like others my issue isn't with the fix, it's that there has been ZERO correspondence from SE on this. They've posted about a lodestone update, and that the gold saucer is full, but have yet to say anything about the game breaking issue that's locking people out of the game entirely.

Great job SE.

Just adding my voice to the many, got the infinite loading screen queueing up for WoD with my FC buddies.

If SE would like to apologise for locking us out of the game on patch day, I personally will take 2 Fenrir mounts and a fat chocobo minion please ;)
