Why do people play Lalafell?

Should that honestly matter to your enjoyment of the game? It's pretty damn obvious everyone has their preferences and honestly, it shouldn't concern you in the least. There are people who see their Mi'Qotes in that way, hell, I'm no exception to that. He states it the way he did because it's the truth. If someone sees their Lalafell that way, all the damn power to them, just don't get on the horse of yours broseph.

As for the topic itself, I planned on never making a Lalafell alt...till I decided to make an Lalafell retainer for my main...and I decided to make a Female Lalafell ARC, soon to be SMN on the spot.

That person was talking about people who play the Miqo'te as narrow minded perverts who enjoy looking at 14-16 year old girls. If that is also the way you think all the power to you, to each his own. We're are not all like that, and that is not why I chose this race to play. If I wanted to get my kicks off it sure wouldn't be playing this game paying $15 a month, looking at a cartoon character. There are plenty of free websites that show alot more than anything here. I don't believe I made a reference to my enjoyment of the game either, so not sure where that came from. It was a comment about an even more idiotic comment.

Contrary to popular belief, we Miqo'te do not all prefer a solitary life, nor are we all savages.

Lalafell are excellent slave labor. In a pinch, you could eat a couple. They make excellent footrests. Best of all, while entertaining, you can trip one of your lalafell slaves, and say to your guests "looks like this Lala...fell. "

You can ask the same question about any other race. Why do people play as Miqo'tes? Why do people play as Hyurs? Simple answer: they can. A better question is why wouldn't you want to be a Lalafell?

As for my reasoning I chose a Lalafell because I was planning to choose BLM as my starting class so I wanted a magic-based class. Lalafells have the highest base piety and at the time I thought that was the best stat to go for as a BLM. I just never changed it afterwards and enjoyed being a Lalafell because we are awesome!

Sometimes all on the same character. This particular character has been a hyur, then a miqote, then an elezen and now is back to a Hyur. I have a roe and a lala alt that I eventually need to do something with.

Lalafel will always be my Main. I have at least one character of every race, and Au Ra are awesomely cute... But they seem more of a cool cute than a Lalas warm bubbly cute. However if I make a new character on a new server... who would be played more? still my Main Lalafel, but on the other server? Might just be the Au Ra...

Lalafel work together! My all Lalafel linkshells are really full of helpful and giving people! One even just gave me a Culinarian Stove. For free. Lalafel just need to make a lalaladder to get at high places.

I was a Miqo'te foreverrrr just switched to lala and I love being adorable!!! My raid leader wasn't too happy tho xD But at least he agreed with me that I'm adorable. I switched cuz I wanted to look like sailor chibi moon tho I haven't really changed my glamours. I guess I look more like a minature Black Lady (no racism intended) Ya know? when she was grown up and evil? I plan to switch to Au'Ra come 3.0 tho :]
