Maintaining linkshells as a means of player communication is important to me. Can you please add an activity based indicator based on when a player last logged into the game like the Free Company System has? This way I can prune/remove inactive members from the linkshell.

Would you ever consider adding an FFXII-style gambit system for pets and companions? Being able to semi-customise the AI behavior of your pets would make for an interesting additional aspect of strategy for those classes I feel. Taking SCH pets as an example, you could have things like:
1. Heal tank classes if below 60% health.
2. Heal party members if below 100% health.
3. Heal self if below 20% health.
etc...
Perhaps this would be too powerful or too difficult to implement, but I feel that current pet control and design could benefit from some more adjustable features such as this.
My favorite character in the final fantasy series is Cecil and Kain. I can be Kain when i am dragoon but will we see the dark knight as a class? Will The rate you can aquire Atmas and tomes of mythology changed i the 2.4 patch?
What jobs will share cross class abilities with Ninja, and will Ninja share it's abilities with existing jobs?
How far off is a gun wielding job? Will it have a secondary weapon (rapier) or two guns?

People want housing in multiple locations and just can't afford it. Why can't we combine Free Companies in an alliance and benefit off of one another's resources?
This personal housing system is not going to appease players at the rate it's going and less than 1% of the players will ever receive a personal house per server.
As an alternative to levelling classes through the repetition of dungeons, FATES and Leves, is there any chance you can add an area for typical (FFXI) party style levelling?
As an idea: You could create an island accessed by boat and arrive at a village called "New Selbina". People can group up and venture out the village into an area that is a replication of Valkrum Dunes ;) - for a bit of nostalgia for those of us who have fond (or not so fond memories) of days past. I imagine you can limit the monsters and exp granted to a level that it is only beneficial to groups there between levels 10 and 20.
It will allow new players to experience the joys of being KO'd many, many, many, many times when they get accidentally gain the attention of all the goblins lurking by the tunnel.

As much as I love this hat, even back from the ffxi days, I'm not too fond of the face sack that comes with it. And yes, I do know there's the /visor off option. So, my question is; can you guys make it possible so that the visor on/off option stays in the option you set it, even if you equip it on or off? Maybe build that into the save gear setting since we can already do that with hat on/off. That sack.... just isn't appealing hahaha
Are there plans to implement more control over our chocobos? It would be beneficial to have the place option for my healer chocobo so he doesn't take unnecessary aoe damage in melee range. Or a sic option for tank chocobos so they can establish threat first.
Can you consider adding difficult battle like Primals Challenge where we fight 2 at once, or Garlean Challenge where we fight 2-3 Garlean General at once which aren't require the need of lore in these battle?
The reason for this is every kind of battle you have released so far are all lore need, even the Ultima HM or Guildhest you also created a small lore for it. But with these kind of battles, we don't need lore, but only the challenge and fun for players since right now we are lack of end-game content for hardcore players, or players who seek for challenge.
Black mage has many issues as a class and I'm curious if you plan on improving it's mobility. As well as getting rid of some of the usless moves that hold the class back from others. For example freeze low damage and does nothing In upper coil. Why does ice have no proc but thunder and fire do. These are things that need to be addressed
Can you give us some little peak about the expansion? Like does the current dungeon system for example gears drop, or boss mechanic still work or will you change them?

From this point of the event happen, October 19th, to forward. Will you open more events where you and community commnunicate each other? Players give question and you answer them. The reason for this is every questions we make in here nearly 80% couldn't make it into the Live Letter (this also happen for Live Letter Q&A through Twitter), which become wasted and Community can't get their answers from their Director.
This work just like a Goverment system where citizens have a question about something and they need the answer from their goverment.
You have fixed priority for hunt mobs - which helped me to be able to finally participate in hunting - but will you do the same for party members?
For example, I had to turn down a lot of graphic settings to be able to take part in hunts and thus the amount of players visible is limited. Especially during S ranks they keep blinking on and off and of the 50-ish players, maybe 1 or 2 are party members. This means I'm not able to heal during hunts, because I can't heal players that are invisible to me (clicking from the party menu is no use) and none of my AoE heals land on them either. Healers are always needed and it would help greatly to be able to change to a class in need when I have it. I don't care if you block out everyone else, I just need to see my party members, so please make their visibility higher in priority.
Hello I would like to know If you guys plan on boosting the dragoon class dps a lot of people don't want a dragoon in their party because lack of dps I know you guys said that this is something you didn't want to happen with any class but it's happening are you guys aware of this and do you plan on making adjustments please do and thank you again this game is awesome.

Will Rogue/Ninja's Limit Break be visually different than that of the other MELEE fighters?

"I just want to start this off with the fact that I love the armour designs in this game. But I've noticed that, every time a new event comes out, two of the classes are wearing the same style, with just a recolour. I can see this working for BLM/SMN, SCH/WHM, and WAR/PLD, which share gear styles, but not for other job combinations.
For example, in Labyrinth of the Ancients, BLM/SMN share a gear style with SCH/WHM. Other instances are Syrcus Tower (again between BLM/SMN and SCH/WHM), Binding Coil (BRD with DRG, and BLM/SMN with SCH/WHM), and Second Coil (which is a weirder overlap: BLM/SMN with BRD).

1. with the eternal bond system will we be able to give our partner access to our personal house permission (furniture placement, gardening, npc etc)
2. will you ever increase drops for atmas. i am getting really frustrated with over 200 fates in 1 area and still no atma.. i don't mind a grind but a grind with no real time in to reward ratio is frustrating .. the other parts of the relic and other grinds in game if you put the time in you can complete but atma is only luck or no luck. i know people who have all atmas in a quarter of the time i have only got 6.
3 are you still planning to make the glamour items release in 2.3 easier to obtain?
Can you adjust the AI of Eos and Selene to allow them to cure a Titan-Egi without having to be told to?
The AI allows them to target and heal themselves and any party member and their chocobos with no problems but they seem to be completely oblivious to an Egi (especially Titan who actually needs heals) when in low-man situations.
Will the weekly lockout for Syrcus Tower be removed soon?
There is a LOT of very useful armor going to waste with almost everyone else running the raid for either a sand or an oil.
You said many times about the server issue with limited storage that you cannot provide full content to the community (Private House for example), lead to cutting some content before bring them to the community. Can you tell us what do you see about this issue and what is your action to improve this important issue?
Is there any plan to buff paladin's healing proficiency? please allow them to become backup healers, most of their cross class skills does not help them much, like protect, cure and raise (useless in battle for some strange reason) I switched to warrior because i was doing no damage at all as paladin, i think even white mages surpass them in dps, compared to other classes they are really boring, their rotations are simple and they can't heal more than 300 hp with cure.
please improve their healing and dps and they will become more atractive in my opinion
I have personally wondered why this has not yet been part of FFXIV. I love this game and everything it has to offer but with voice chat being almost mandatory for end game it makes it really hard for console players to communicate with PC players. Is there any chance of having in game voice chat added to FFXIV? I hate having to constantly switch my mic back and forth to 3rd party programs. I think in game voice chat should be mandatory for any MMORPG so why not in FFXIV? Team work in the end game is key and typing just does not cut it. Thanks you! Arigatou Gozaimasu!

Do you have any plans, any content that you will provide to make DoL more useful and fun to go?
For example with the previous three major patchs, DoW/DoM and DoH have been provide lots of content which fun to go, but DoL still lack of things which make them feel like abandon. With patch 2.2 that let you access to higher gears, and 2.3 with higher accessories gears, but beside those gears and new gathering log, they don't have any other things to do.
So will you create more missions, duties, etc. beside new gathering nodes for DoL in the future?

Will we ever be able to adjust the opacity of AoE indicators? I find them to be too bright/bold and would like to make them much more transparent.
Will we ever be able to turn off the glow effects on weapons and armor for our self and others? I do not like how the glow effects look and find them to be distracting (for example, someone drawing their weapon looks like they have initiated an action because of the sudden glow effect)
Will there be an in-game option for players to turn off the glow feature from their weapon and armor?

Since the introduction of Syrcus Tower we've seen upped drop rates to the UAT, oils, and now sands. Would you consider making the bonus chest on Xande a guaranteed drop and/or increasing the drop to three for those of us pushing 75+ runs trying to get the minion? :(
Players have noticed Odin's Sleipnir mount was added in the 2.38 patch game files as a player mount. Will this be added as an additional reward to the primal vendor when the previously announced Odin shield is introduced?
With the Beastmen dailies wrapping up, I was disappointed with the 'Allied Minions' as they were recolored versions of the same rewards added months ago. Speaking for myself, Loonh Gah seemed to be a fan-favorite of the tribes; could we see a wind-up version of her in the future?
