So I just watched FFXIV: End of an Era it's shown that the Twelve trying to recapture Bahamut in Dalamud. We know that Dalamud was created by the Allagan.
What is the connection between the Twelve and the Allagan Empire?

I have a more hypothetical question, I think, since Primal summoning is fairly recent knowledge to our Eorzean beast tribes. If they had been summoned in the past, would they look exactly the same? We know that Primals are sustained by aether and the prayers of their faithful. Would the ideas of what a Primal looks like from the faithful doing the summoning change the Primal's appearance? Or will they always look the same every time they're summoned into eternity?
We know that Arcanum uses geometries to cast their spells, but we don't have too much information as to how it happens. Do arcanists trace the enchanted shapes to cast spells? Or is the act of casting something more like applying the arcanist's aether to the enchanted ink to create the effect? Or is it something else entirely?
Are we ever going to see a town or village made up primarily of Miqo'te? I would be interested to learn more about that race's history.
Is there any plan to bring back the vast landscapes of the zones from 1.0 or do you plan to keep each area compact as they currently are?
In future updates do you plan to include any "Open World" dungeons?
Is there any plan to move away from the Relic Weapon progression by means of creating a new weapon to build, to elaborate do you have any plans to end the Zodiac Weapon line and introduce a new weapon line?
Will the free companies get a buff that up the movement speed for mounts? Will the ninja get it own augmented crafted chest piece like the other jobs got before? What type of gear will Shiva drop from extreme mode?
Did the calamity cause a famine in the Miquo'te nation resulting in the malnourishment that caused the loss of cheek fat?
I am wondering if Diabolos and Siren are classes as lesser Primals, or if they are nods to FFVII.
I am wondering why Tharmatuge when turning to black mages do not master command of all 8 elements as astral and umbral forces, as i recall most all black mages have acess to elemental forces. This is from a LORE perspective i realize we canonly be limited on skills
Will we ever see a "good" Primal in XIV, as in one we dont fight against? I can't imagine all the Primals in Eorzea would be ones we have to fight.
Will we be getting more in-game usage of Old High Sylphic or other Eorzean languages any time soon? I'd like to know more about the Roegadyn language in particular!
Have there ever been any important historical instances in which a Hyur and an Elezen have been romantically involved? Also, does cross-racial relationships often occur?
Are there any folklore stories involving cross-racial relationships, especially between a Hyur and Elezen?
Did the Allagin empire include other races beside Hyur and Roegadyn?
If not, then I'd like to know the geneology of G'raha Tia and who he got the Allagin Eye from
Yoshida-san mentioned in interviews a few years back that Dalamud was originally going to be used in a future scenario, but when plans for A Realm Reborn were made those were obviously scrapped in favor of the Seventh Umbral Era storyline we got. I know this is a bit of a stretch, but...
Is there any way you could tell us what the original plan for Dalamud was? Or on a broader scale, what direction the original storyline was going to take?
If this has been asked previously, I'm sorry-- I don't have time right now to read through this entire thread, but I really want to know this for RP reasons and have been for a long time now:
What are the age scales of every race? How long do they live? How long does it take them to become an adult? At what point do they stop being a baby and become a child? For instance, do Hyur have a human lifespan, or do they live slightly longer? ...And I'm sure almost everyone is wondering about the Elezen....
Furthermore, at what point does society consider an individual no longer a child? For instance, are elezen considered children longer or shorter than hyur? Roughly how old is a miqo'te when he or she gains adult status? Is the lalafell growth process incredibly short, so that the children look like the adults but are not yet developed in mind for a while?) What about roegadyn?
It would be really useful to know this.
Thank you!
Can we hear more about the origins of the Hellsguard Roegadyn and the lands they come from? What demons or voidsent are they guarding against? Will the name Lohengarde become more prominent?
Will we ever see Abalathia's Spine or the areas surrounding it? Will we ever be able to travel to Ala Mhigo?
Where exactly is the original Adventurer's Guild? The "modest station of their humble beginnings".(Source) And, most importantly, can we go there?
My next question is inspired by a thread asking where the PCs came from.
Apart from Primals, is it possible for aether to manifest into a sentient form that looks like a member of a spoken race. Put more simply; can a person be directly created from Aether?
On a more definite note We know that when Dalamud fell it's pieces somehow connected to each other and fromed the Binding Coil of Bahamut the exception would be the Carteneau Ruins. I'm wondering if the ruins and the "bleeding crater" in Coerthas will be significant to the Coil.
Why are there dragons outside Coerthas (The Biasts and drakes in Thanalan, Sigmurg and the bosses in Brayflox, and the those Black dragons in the shroud)?
Some things I would like lore on:
Currently we only see definite models for Hyur and Elezen younglings. Will there be more of the other races included in the future? (We have seen Lalafell children, but they are the same models as adults - we have not seen them at an infant or juvenile stage of development).
-Also, anything else to do with younglings, such as education or cultural/racial customs that we can learn about?
Adventurers collect minions (living, infant monsters as well as wind-up mammets). Do ordinary citizens and children collect minions as pets? Fish descriptions and the occasional F.A.T.E. describe pets owned by the everyman, yet we see no evidence of pets or animals in city-states or residences apart from farm stock and chocobos! Why?!
Are the statues in the Temple of Qarn (final boss, the ones also seen in the Hard Mode clip) related to the race of Yugiri, or another race altogether?
Can we have clear origins for all the races, such as homelands?
What can you tell us about the gremlins - are tonberries to Nymians are what gremlins are to Amdapori people?
Why can we find adamantoise shells in Bluefog, buried deep in the rock, when they are a species native to Thavnair and take at least 80 years to reach maturity? How long have we had an adamantoise plague in Eorzea for?!
Can you give us any information at all on the wider world of Hydaelyn? Perhaps some sneak peaks at some maps??
Before the Empire showed up it seemed like Ala Mhigo was the resident big bad of Eorzea; Can we get more information about the Autumn War and its fallout? Are there any elders out there still turning away Al Mhigan refugees because of it?
At what point were Ishgard and Sharlayan founded relative to Gridania? If the bad blood between Duskwright and Wildwood is because of how Gridania was founded why does this seem to carry over to other cities?
Will there be references to the age of magitek and ties into records of the Gestahlian Empire?
Will we see a rise of new primals in upcoming expansions, like Phoenix, Ashura and Yojimbo over Doma? And will any culture be evil enough to summon Anima and the Magus Sisters?
What kind of differences in cultural upbringing could be expected with respect to Plainsfolk vs. Dunesfolk?
We know that Dunesfolk are / were nomadic and that they kept their homes on the backs of giant beasts. Could we know more about these beasts, what they look like, their diet, and so on?
Are there any customs and traditions observed by either both Plainsfolk and Dunesfolk or one or the other respectively?
What is the historical recount of the war between Ul'Dah and Sil'Dih, and will we ever see more to that story?
Since there have been afew occasions when corrupted crystals were used, mainly for primals, will the use of corrupted crystals play a huge role in the future?
What significant cultural / historical figures are there for both Dunesfolk and Plainsfolk?
With Miqo'te it seems generally assumed that they all came to Eorzea and then eventually drifted apart (Keepers and Seekers), but what would drive the traditionally agrarian Lalafell to decide to live in the desert instead?
(Are Dunesfolk the Eorzean equivalent of Australians??)
What can you tell us about Nanamo Ul Namo's successors, and how is it that the Sultana came to power?
(And it is my understanding that Lalafell have a long lifespan, but just how old is Nanamo?)
The Thaumaturge guild is run by the "Coco-bros." But where did they come from and how did they come to be in charge of the Ossuary? Is their naming pattern typical of large Lala families?
Are there cultural reasons for why Lalafell don't have furniture catered to their size and stature?
rumors goes that the smn will be getting the new primals summoning being leviathan and ramuh can we also expect new summonings for the sch and not only that since the lvl cap is increasing can are we also gonna see this changes for more classes and jobs to have more abilities
