Weird I was finally able to login an play for atleast an hr. Afterwards I got 900000 error. Can log in, but I can't enter my data center and been getting lobby errors.

The ddosing was a minor crime to authorities and annoying only to the services and users of the services affected but they managed to escalate the issue into federal territory. What's impressed me the most is the stupidity of the people behind this incident. I really hope they get what's coming to them. =_= A bomb threat is a VERY serious matter.

Got to love it, those idiot kids got so bored they now have serious legal charges agaisnt them. i hope this was worth it. and they aren't even being secretive about it, as if bragging about being stupid is some kind of good thing.

PS4 east coast (Massachusetts) and neither my husband nor I can log in yet. I've been trying off and on for 9 hours now. Fine asshole, prove whatever dumb point you feel you needed to prove, but you had to do it to this point? And then add dumbass bomb threats on top of that? Hope the authorities knock down your door - there is nothing positive about this. -_-'

I'm actually tempted to leave my ps4 on all night since I'm already connected ingame right now. There's no telling if PS4 users will still be screwed over tomorrow before maintenance time. What's holding me back is I really don't want to leave my ps4 on all night if I'm not using it. >< I guess if I can't connect tomorrow then I'll go try out this MMO called Real Life. ;~;

That was going to be mine and the hubby's plan. Leave the PS4 on all night and hope we don't get booted so we can play tomorrow after work.

Well that's exactly what we're concerned about. The plan was to stay logged in ffxiv in case the maintenance is still going on when we get out of work. Now I'm just hoping we'll be able to log in before we go to sleep.

I tried that game once. It was a [censored] game. There are so many bad things. Billions of players, but no goal to meet, everyone just does what they want, long tutorial, you can pvp but it is often against the rules to so you have to figure out the rules about when you can pvp, and many other issues.

The only good thing is that the lag time tends to be relatively low.

Well, according to Sony PSN is up but has a note that "We are aware that some users are experiencing difficulty logging into the PSN, you may continue to experience some slowness and authentication failures for a while." I'm trying to log in on ps4 and it's still telling me PSN is undergoing maintenance. But at least they're now declaring it's online as opposed to when I checked a half hour ago. Here's hoping we get in soon for those of us who have been trying all day!

Well apparently PSN is "Online" again. (https://support.us.playstation.com/a.../237/related/1) but now there will be people still desperately trying to log on again, thus increasing the traffic again and knocking the server offline most likely.

I'm still trying to log on, and most likely leaving the console on overnight when (or if) I do get on. It's midnight over here and a bank holiday tomorrow. Fingers crossed I don't lose another day.

At least America still has an evening left. I haven't. Most likely my raiding group will not be happy with me as we were supposed to be doing Turn 8 practice this evening.

I could tell without even trying because the PS4 'dashboard' wasn't filling-in which normally means there is maint. but...who knows.
