Will we EVER see any airship riding while being able to view the sky similar to how it is in FFXI? Also, will we ever have any airship/skyward or sea/underwater battles or story/event content? To me, those are standard Final Fantasy types of content!
Last question, will there be a simple way(such as a vendor to trade with) in order to switch any gender specific gear? Since we can already switch genders, I would hope that we would be able to change the gear, even if we have to do it manually, in order to still use them!
As a career ninja back in FFXI, I, along with many others I'm sure are dying to know what stats ninja will use. I've farmed virtually everything I possibly could need (Atmas, Sands, Oils, Relic, Materia) for ninja, in two weeks I will be capping my Soldiery and have to start spending it the next week, Given the amount of time I'll only have enough to get a full set of either STR (Monk) or DEX(Bard) gear set aside.
A few questions from me,
Animation Locks - Unreliable Non-GCD abilities.
Can we have animation locks looked at? As it is now sometimes using stuns is unreliable unless you're just auto-attacking or using specific abilities that have a shorter lock-out on non-globals. For example if I was trying to stun Eruption on Ifrit whilst performing the Full Thrust combo, due to animation lock I wouldn't be able to use the non-global stun until the very end of the attack and that can take longer than the short Eruption cast.
Gameplay precision over animation precision.
You addressed this with Warriors where their stun would start as soon as they use the ability rather than when the animation lands but some other classes are suffering from them. Benediction and Hallowed Ground need their animations to play out before the effect begin, some of these are used in mostly emergencies and it's pretty frustrating to see your Benediction be used and by the time it actually lands the player is dead. The ability even goes on cooldown without their purpose fulfilled. Will we ever see this issue addressed?
Can we have European Servers?
I play with some people who are lucky to have less than 150ms (ping) and in a game where the mechanics mainly consist of dancing around and avoiding stuff in a timely manner the distance from here to Canada puts them in an unfair advantage, some of us even need to use VPN services to try and reduce the latency and spikes that are caused mainly by the large distance.
1. Is the current weathered gears + sands + oils + UAT system will be carried through 2.4 and beyond? If yes, will future sands + oils purchaseable with hunt seals?
2. Is there any possibility if we can join the Garlean Empire and be an evil villain? (not to mention those awesome cool looking magitek suits)
Is there any plans to add larger scale content such as dyanamis like in FFXI or Sea or Sky. And will the relic weapons we have now come to an end any time soon? Or will they keep upgrading to we get to excailber etc
Will we ever be able to have our chocobo out while queuing for dungeons or doing grand company levequests?
What will the gear lineup be for Ninja when it comes out in 2.4.
Will it have Myth, Soldiery, and The new currency gear? Will it have the same relic quest line as all the other jobs?
Could you please do something about Atma drop rates, or the method to acquire them? The current model is not fun at all, and it's discouraging seeing people talk about novus and animus steps and you're months behind through no fault of your own. I've been doing FATEs for at least 2-3 hours a day, often times ignoring other content completely, and barely have half of them...and i've been doing this since 2.2 launched!
I actually have a lore question, for a change of pace, As this has been a question that has been on my mind for a while.
Considering how much of a grey zone Voidsent are in the lore, would it ever be possible for there to be good, or at least friendly voidsent?
Because as far as I can tell, Voidsent do seem to have free will to do what they wish, so would it be so far-fetched that a couple are sick of the status quo and decide to be different or friendly?
I would be eternally grateful for an official answer to this, as I am an avid roleplayer, and having grey zones like this in the lore filled in would be nice.
are you aware of the numbers of loyal fans ( players from ffxi and ffxiv 1.xx) leaving the game because the game is not catering to them? and do you why are they quitting?
Have you considered adding more vertical gear progression and making the equipment last longer, 6 months is a very short time and makes getting new gear useless and repetitive.
I was very excited the first time you talked about an hybrid role and how the game was already balanced with it in mind, but recently you said i would be "delayed" in favor of the new players and the matching system, can you please reconsider it? the sooner you add it the faster will the players adapt to it.
The gambit system used in some coil bosses is a good step into improving boss battles, but most battles are too scripted and boring, would you consider making battle more strategic and fun making them work with an AI/complex gambit system and some random behaviors?
Although the solo players are an important part of the MMO genre you seem to have forgotten about them for a long time, when can we expect difficult end-game solo content as a gearing alternative?
As someone with very variable playing schedules, and some times just little time to play, completing coil is not even an option for me, could you please change how the coil lockout works so i can play it with friends who are part of a static?
I saw this very often in the forums and it's an idea i would like to see implemented, can you please implement an open world version of the instanced dungeons, making them dangerous places to hold special fates or NMs, and a source of hard to obtain crafting materials?
Can you please tell us about the FC airship system?
I feel every job have little or null customization, can you please consider a rework of the cross-class skill system to allow more freedom and customization, or the addition of a brand new system?
Will we get Primal themed armor other than Odins at some point?
Will you ever offer live translation for the Live Letters for the majority of players who aren't Japanese? Or at least offer a subtitled version some time after. If the worries are for mistranslation during live translations then include a disclaimer that explains this and that nothing is official until posted on the forums. Live Letters are a great idea and a great way of reaching out to the community so please don't keep excluding the majority of the user-base from enjoying it.
Do you plan in the near future to make party member to load in priority like you did to odin / behemoth ?
Do you plan in the near future to allow us the ability how many player load on our screen per "hex", PS3 and some laptop player can't do s mark hunt because there platform can't handle the whole server in the same place.
Do wedding include a shared deposit box, and if so, will you be able to trade a wider variety of item (old content item like a mog king weapon with 0% spiritbound) trough it with you special someone?
Do you intend to allow us to take cross class trait with the class you needed lvl 15 to unlock you job in a future patch? for exemple paladin taking the conjurer lvl 28 trait that allow to cast raise in combat. They still won't have swift cast, and will probably have aggro on mobs making this a risky attempt.
Will you allow DoL to take some DoW ability so we can have more option when mob aggro us than auto attack or sprint for our life?
Now that we're close to an expansion, and the end of Bahamut's Coil and Crystal Tower. How will the new raid dungeons be implemented? Will it be similar to what we have now where we'll get the 8 man raid first then 24 man raid on the following patch, or will you it be vice versa?
How is Ninja going to affect the dungeon loot drop system. Is it going to share gear with other classes like currently Pld & War, Whm & Sch and Blm & Sch are doing? Or is there maybe finally going to be put a token drop system into place that allows players to go buy a piece for their job of choice?
Gamers now have options to acquire second highest weapons in the game (Coils remain the highest). Primals weapons became easier and faster to acquire over time and Soldiery weapons are just a matter of time getting it with tomes. However Relic Weapons are the hardest of all what being longer quest with each upgrade, the level of atma randomness, animus books and now Alexandrite grinding. And it won't get easier over time. In fact quests get longer with each upgrades.
My question is: How are you going to REWARD those players who persevered through Titans, Atmas, Books FATE waiting and Alexandrite Hunts grinding??? Please give us a relic-specific weapon abilities at the end of this!!! Like FF11 such as Bards can sing 2 songs simultaneously, Blm's Tornado or Comet or Whm Benediction half cast time etc. This will make us VERY happy and contended and will entice people to do all those grinding.
Let us not forget going broke with spending expensive grade4 materias for Novus (goes for half a million each)!!! Please Yoshi, you've taken all from us, now give us something worthwhile.

On removal of Private Chambers
As the system currently is, Private Chambers can cause problems for FCs in that a member can't be dismissed, or a plot released in order to move to a new location, if there are private rooms attached to the FC housing. Likewise it's a problem for the player that they can't change FCs without destroying what they have. There has been talk from the Developer side of giving FC masters the ability to demolish players' rooms in order to dismiss them or free up the house, but that seems just as equally onesided and unreasonable.
Why not make it easier on players and more user friendly, and allow Private Chambers to be attached to an Inn temporarily?
When private housing is introduced, will we be able to sell our private rooms to get some gil back?
Okay how about a distance meter on the target bar so we can see how far they are from us? It's very important for healers.
Also can you fix the (frontline) horse riding animation? I mean look at this:

If not Padjal, would it ever be a possibility to allow players to make their characters look younger, or at least smaller (especially males) ?
Most Final Fantasies have young characters with prominent roles. VII had Yuffie, VIII Selphie, X Rikku, XII had Larsa, Van and Penelo, and XIII had Hope. I've always wanted to make a character similar to these characters, but a male character. Currently all of the men in XIV have big, strong bodies which make it difficult to create a youth. Please add youth to the drawing board! Or at least body size sliders for men.
Is it going to be possible in the future that you add a special gear like:
-Gear with no stats on it that is 100% customize-able like you pick the colors and the stats you want on it. So the gear itself would start with no stats and you customize it to have whatever stats you want with the materia?
my question is . do you guys have planning to balance the game , for sample Beastmen strongholds areas and treasure hunts ?
because this mobs they don't really are challenge like on FFXI ?

Can we get High Level Dungeons fixed so that when bosses are cleared the loot chests always drop 1 random piece of gear with a % chance of also having a crafting material dropped with them in the same chest?
It should work in the same way that Sycrus Tower's final boss chest's work, they always drop 1 piece of gear with a chance of also dropping an Oil of Time and/or an Unidentified Allagan Tombstone (and soon to be added Sands of Time).
Let's get this same mechanic working in High Level dungeons for all boss chests, please. Thank you.
Can you give WHM an out of combat global/party stoneskin? It seems rather silly to have to stand there waiting for 8 or even 4 individual stoneskins to be applied before a fight starts.
