My retainer found something interesting...

If rare seeds pop up then possibly they can too.
Has anyone recieved azeyma seeds?
Also, would ppl bust a nut if they came back with the mirror of whorl?

Started venture recently cos I wanted to glamour a mogbow.

Once retainer reached level 12 and quick venture becomes available, really brought me a mogbow.

I wonder is any in game item fair game for a retainer to find? There's people coming back with everything from Mog Weapons to Bluebirds to housing roofs xD

My retainer has a habit if bringing me back i70 PvP gear for classes I don't play (nor do I PvP, for that matter)... and cabinets, for some unfathomable reason...

I would guess you get an error saying that you can only hold one unique item.

I had only one inventory slot free when attempting to open my retainer's Venture Report, and got an error about not having enough slots on inventory. So I dropped something and tried again. It turns out my retainer brought back 2 items.

So yeah, I assume it should be the same as when you open a coffer or try to reclaim a quest reward: You get an error and the " event" doesn't go thru until you fix your inventory.

Yesterday my retainer brought me back a damn Clothcraft Loom. 3star crafted item. Level 24 archer with an ilvl of 10. -.-

Out of the two retainers on of then Lvl 19 arcanist always and I mean always comes back with rubbish like a fish, or rock salt.
However my BLM lvl 23 retainer seems to either be psychic or stalks which dungeons I do.
Ran ifrit HM other day for cudgel, lost out on roll then retainer bought one back, lost out on Dl earrings in dung and he bought them back, then DL boots which he then got me a pair.
He also seems to break into alot of houses, had so many roofs, windows, walls bought back now, even haukke manor windows lol

I have just been doing the long explorations as I am just trying to maximize my damage output on FF10 with getting the characters special weapons lol. It doesnt seem you get good items from long explorations.

Giantsgall Longstaff and, last night, Ifrit's Cudgel. :O I guess one of my retainers is a time traveler and the miner can nab stuff from Ifrit's closet. I'm kinda concerned Ifrit will come back for that...

My retainer sensed my need for Gil and brought back some azeyma rose seeds. I didn't see any history or listings on the market board so I put it up for 200k and sold it within 4 hours. Now she only brings me fish. :/

So I kinda answered my own question the other day with this, but what are the limits on what can be brought back by them? Which game areas like Coil and such are off-limits and what is free-game?
Two best things I've gotten so far equipment-wise was a War Sash for MNK and a Strategos Bliaud, so Unique and/or Untradable equipment is certainly possible, but could they bring back mounts from the Extreme Primal fights as well as Allagan gear or no? I'd like to find some limits for this just to know what I might be able to expect in the massive RNG lottery roll.

Nobody has figured out a limit. Coil 6-9 drops have been brought back.

Personally I think there must be some limits or at the very least tiers of items instead of complete randomness, because if it picks any item from the library I've gotten Grilled Trout an awful lot of times... like winning the reverse lottery. :D

Already been disputed. We previously thought they could only bring items that arent Blue rarity, but with primal weapons dropping out the wazoo, its only a matter of time someone gets a High Allagan chest and everyone will bash that person for having the wtfiest luck on the game.

My FC had a close call with someone's retainer, but luckily one of our members was online and in the house at the time of the break-in. The retainer didn't get anything and no one was hurt, but since then we have put bars on our windows.

It really is a shame retainers force us to live this way :(

Um, that's kinda what I said. That there is no known limit. It however doesn't dispute the fact that there MIGHT be a limit, or that there could be tiers or rarity as I suggested, which in the less rare items are simply given a lower chance for you to get.

My level 11 retainer came back with Ifrit's axe.

I haven't even done Ifrit hard mode yet on my main character.

Are the people getting high level valuable items using quick ventures or the 18 hour ones? Is it possible to receive high level items with 18 hr adventures?

possibly but you can only do certain lvl ones. there is 18 hour explorations every 5 lvls so you will prolly need a lvl 50 retain in some good gear to get something nice from the 18. but that is just a thought i have no proof or anything my retainers are lvl 32 atm :) once they hit 50 i will put them in some good gear and see what comes from it.

My marauder retainer brought me War Mitt Gauntlets. They are i60 monk hands and I have no idea where they normally drop from.

My botanist retainer, however, keeps bringing me fish of some kind or another.
