Also, you have our T7 kill wrong - we killed it before prime, one hour and 10 minutes before you have put us down on the progression chart.

Ephia, I changed the time on NOPE's kill to reflect the correct time. I went by submission time since I didn't see a UTC posted. Thanks for updating me.

Ya, with only i95 weapons we needed our warrior to go full dps and our SCH to be DPSing half the fight to come out 6 seconds before enrage. With even 1 or 2 i100 weapons this fight would be alot easier.

You can do it with 4 dps without i100 weapons, but it's going to take practice on maximizing DPS.

cleared it today with 4 dps, was pushing 370/80 dps as MNK, with 90 gear (allagan wep + gloam chest), was extremely tight but just gotta do as this guy says and max that dps to the... max!

The idea that u need to 1 tank 5 dps or have i100 weapons is false. We obtained server first with 1 i100 weapon, 2 tanks, and 4 dps with 20 seconds left on the enrage timer. All u have to do is maximize your dps and have great group coordination. 5 dps really shows that your dps is lacking.

same, we did t8 with weapon ilvl100 drg ilvl100blm and 2 ilvl95 bards (and people say bard sucks) 2 tanks and 15-20secs left to enrage

I'm not sure how to write this without sounding like a jerk, so please forgive me if it does. I think something being forgotten is that this is the 3rd lockout, so many teams now have gotten drops / bought Soldiery gear that isn't being taken into account. Those who cleared them before and were running 5 DPS didn't have as many upgrades yet, so they had to work around it, and it might not be fair to judge them in the same light. As the weeks roll on, and more upgrades are obtained, then I think the natural conclusion is the enrage doesn't come into play.

BG did it on week 1 with 4 dps 2 tanks 2 heals 0 100 weapons (just 4 items above 95 in the whole grp) and over 20 sec to spare with a member that had never even tried T8 at the time, so no.

OUr team had no i100 either and 4 DPS. Just needed our healer to chip in DPS as well as our warrior to DPS harder.

Congrats to BG on the accomplishment. The 2.2 contest is all but over. There was not any doubt that they would down it as soon as they did. It'll also signal to SE not to nerf T9 turn like they did T5.

Grats BG, well done :)

GZ to BG. By stalking their equip it is nice to see, that it is not so uber apart from having pentamelds. Thus, all fights from T6-9 break down to the point of how well can you and your group play instead of having strict gearchecks. Really nice.
