Housing - Furniture Combos

This one I found by accident, notice in the screenshot that I have a Shroud Broadleaf plant that's clipping through the rocks that are part of the Glade Cottage Wall (Stone). It's not possible to place them there normally, you have to remodel your house to a different wall (I used Composite), place the plant, and then change it back to Stone. I guess this means that the Stone-type wall has a slightly larger collision radius than the Composite one.

Placed the lampposts in that spot, switched the outside and the pillars would cover them so it looked like the lamp part was attached to the pillar

Somewhat inspired by Jalicats corner bathtub. My friend wanted a stage and I wanted to do something with the lectern. I tried to cover up as much flickering and weird clipping as I could, with the barrels, plants and Bahamut; I tried to just put the plants and then move the table on top of them but when leaving they would move vertically higher on their own to not be on the floor, and then again to be on top of the table. Maybe in time you could get them to stay but it looks decent like this too.

I put a Syrcus Tower inside the Glade Pillar that's in the middle of a Diagnostics Module.

I think it's pretty neat that the four crystals at the base of the tower float just above the table, it makes them look like computer mice or something.

When you activate the tower, they produce a nice ripple effect on the surface of the Diagnostics Module as well.

The mini-Dalamud at the top of the tower orbits at just the right radius to circle the indentation in a Glade Pillar perfectly. You can also see that the blue light that travels up the tower when you activate it grows much larger than normal - it hugs the entire circumference of the pillar instead of just displaying on the tower itself like it does normally.

Whenever I get items that move after you exit and enter the house I try to place them again and make sure I place without grid snapping. This seems to reduce the occurrence of that happening.

1. Glade Lantern fits perfectly inside Hard Rice Cakes. Turn your treat into a lamp.
2. Hide Summoner Bell with Oasis Flower Vase.
3. Hide a Stuffed Moogle to sprout some hearts between pillows.

You can hide part of a Cask Rack within a partition, it will hide the barrels and tabs but the bottom will show.

The new valentione's bed goes really well with Llymlaen's Embrace, even putting the hearts up top neatly in the little cove at the top of the fountain:

I'm working on a war room for my personal house's basement, loosely inspired by Dragon Age: Inquisition.

I kinda feel the game needs more furniture for something like that, but so far I have a few armoires and strongboxes to store weapons and armors, cabinets for documents and important items, both Ifrit's and Behemoth's trophies (as well as some other minor spoils), and cold stone walls and floor (in contrast with the otherwise warm feeling of the other two floors). It'll be much better if and when they'll add a mannequin I can put armor on, or weapons placards for display.

But what I'm pretty proud of so far is this combination. The Eorzean map in the center of the room, from where the WoL and his party can discuss plans and strategies. A GC box hidden below my desk lets me sit on its rim, rather than the boring chair, so I can overlook directly at the map.

I built a proscenium stage for the events I run. Full functional with wings, backstage cross over, an orchestrion inside the back wall for scene music changes, light positioned just above front-center to act as a spot. And yes, we tested line-of-sight. Wings are 100% blind!

I love the Living Arch too. It feels a bit tricky to get it to work in small properties though. I seriously wish we could scale housing items. lol

Wall trick, most likely.
Use a partition to hang the banners on, then remove partition so that the banners remain.

Here's a guide for you. Works for wall item too.

Just take note that the floating wall item cannot be too close to the wall or it will stick back onto it.

Wanted to try and see if I could do a vanity table combo and this is pretty much the outcome. Kinda hard to simulate the mirror portion so I just used a light blue dye to represent the mirror. Kinda pleased with the outcome^^

Just a quick little something, nothing elaborate:

Especially with small houses, you easily run out of space if you don't want it too cluttered. This little "deluxe stable" combines 3 of the must-have utility items for your garden:

• chocobo stable
• flowerbed (medium size)
• mini aetheryte.

The aetheryte becomes a lamp/decoration for the pillar (make sure it doesn't clip through the sign!), while the flowerbed makes it seem as if the ground in the stable is paved and not just a bunch of hay thrown onto the ground.
With the gardening equipment sticking out, it looks as if someone was just cleaning out the stable a minute ago, making the whole garden feel more lively :)
When plants start growing, your chocobo will have fresh greens to eat; looks best with those plants that use the Krakka root model.
The front row can be accessed normally, to water the back row, just spin the flowerbed 180° :p

I made myself a computer including totally-not-a-stool pull out keyboard and totally-not-a-flower-vase speakers. The rest of it is a storm strongbox, manor music stand and eorzean map.

I'm at a loss for mice though, no tabletop item is similar or small enough, so your best bet would probably be to find something that fits under the table and clips slightly through the top (something like the stuffed moogle with the pom sticking out for example).
