I can confirm that Knights of Twilight no longer has a static in the FC. Aveira Nytemare and myself are the only two raiding end game at this time with a group from Reign. Not really worth keepin our FC in the list. :x

Thank you for updating me. I've put your FC into the inactive list so that it'll live on.

Thanks for putting this list together! As a new FFXIV player who has a long past in raid-level content for MMOs, this in invaluable walking in to a new server. Great lay of the land, FC-wise!

Looking forward to tackling some end-game content with one of these FCs in a few weeks.

What are peoples thoughts on counting brutal coil as "progression." It seems alot of people including the world progression thread are not considering it progression and merely Lazy SE filler till 2.4

Savage coil is more or less progression without that big reward at the end of the line. I personally want those titles but I'm already seeing some T9 clear groups struggling with time constraints and/or unmotivated members.

I'd like to work for those, but I really despise the lack of actual lootz for the time we put into it.

Honestly, I think Turn 6-9 Savage is a greater achievement than Ramuh extreme. If you're going to count one you might as well count the other. With so many groups on this server logging on to clear normal turns in 1-2 hours and then logging off, it gives those big progression groups on Diabolos something to do before new coils come out... or something to do in general. I don't think it's necessarily "Lazy" filler, there are already tweaks and new mechanics in T6.

If Savage Coil was designed for hardcore players, why wouldn't the hardcore players of this thread account it as progression?

I really wish Savage coil wasn't part of the same lock-out as regular coil so that people who are willing to make the effort or have the time can find a separate group just for Savage coil

Yea, it's pretty lame. They should have a loot lockout and still be able to run T6-9 Savage or something.. I think our group is just going to attempt Savage and then do normal coils later in the week when we need our egos boosted. We've only been delving into T6 at the moment, but it's pretty fucking fun. This new mode definitely pushes all roles to play at their absolute maximum.

Ramuh Ex is not progression at all lol. If it were up to me I would definitely NOT count it. A fight cannot be considered progression when the loot/ difficulty are FAR BELOW current content already on farm. Ramuh Ex was implemented for casual players . I would put it on the same level as CT.

I only put Ramuh EX in there because it only seemed natural. It's merely there for just be there for others to see that "Oh hey, this one FC/LS beat Ramuh EX how interesting."

If a majority of people deem it unworthy of being on the list then it will be removed.

As for Savage Coil#2 are we counting that? Given the point that Savage Coil#2 is just purely for fun and filler.

It gives titles/achievements and is more difficult than what was previously available. It should be counted.

If groups are going to put alot of time in and take it seriously then count it I guess. I don't think we are gonna be doing it.

I'm going to assume that you've never tried Ramuh Ex cow since from my experience it was the hardest out of all the extremes in terms of party coordination and ADD phase DPS checks. And from what you said, Ultima HM and Levi Ex shouldn't be counted as progression either o.o;

Savage Coil is progression no matter what people think of it as; there should not even be any doubts... Despite its small reward of granting you a bigger e-peen it is still currently the hardest content available.

I guess this'll separate things for the people who want the challenge over the gear.

For the future they really should separate the lockouts though so people still have the option of getting gear while continuing to throw themselves at the harder version.

For the sake of thread consistently Extreme primals should be tracked, whether it's progression or not is relative. People not able to clear second coils might see Ramuh as the next step in progression, while people afking in Mor Dhona with their HA weapons on display will stomp it after a couple hours with their static. None of the extremes have been 'progression' in the sense that they've all been released at a time when people could already outgear them. But we've always tracked it, so we may as well keep doing it. Savage Coil may not be 'progression' in terms of loot, but it IS the hardest content in the game.
