main reasons seem to be - lack of content and pvp is very disappointing

they would have made the quests more engaging and enjoyable if they wanted you to slow down.
something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otAkP5VjIv8
that's why secret world was cool for the quests, you had to like solve a riddle that leads you to a library and than find a picture with a keycode on it to put into a keypad to open up a secret lair.
idk why, the only "end game" content that's come out(coil turns were out in 1.0/2.0 ) has been EX primals which are just slightly more difficult versions of HMs
the quests in the secret world were amazing, but the end game was lacking the last time i played.
Quest design is elementary at best but I think they didn't want a steep learning curve like in XI. Some people I meet this is their only MMO and have no problem to get to 50. Now I won't say the game isn't flawed or doesn't lose it's appeal if your a seasoned "MMO Player". Hell I just got trolled by the Fantasia Potion and I started over and still see stuff in Thanalan I haven't noticed. Between here and Levithan I've actually met people from the markets because I bought stuff from them. I like the community here but I think the problem is people's ego and strive to get everything on the first try. If your people's is cool any "MMO" you play would be fun as long as the game wasn't a giant troll job. At times I feel like this game is. But art design and familiarity with the series is why I play. Wildstar looks lame to me.
I don't know I don't see why theirs a line between "elite" people in this game. How can you go pro in this game, it's laughable. Go play Dota or counter strike.
The game has tons of content, people just need to learn to play a MMO over a long period of time (like it's intended purpose) and not within a week. Its also very young as an MMO. Quit now and play 6 months later and you'll see all the content that is there.
