I have sometimes out of extreme boredom gone to camp like horizon lots of Behesters there join the behest not join the party and kill the mobs real quickly being above the level your suppose to be there they die quickly, to annoy people I know its horrible if theres no fun to be found, I make some.
Boredom is rage spread thin. - Paul Tillich
well i range day to day depending on what i want to do in game or what i have planned in real life with the wife or kids.
when i have a weekend i usually play most all day.
i log in and speak to ls to see what is going on. if nothing i go grab my locals and do those and make a return run.
after locals i will go over near gogo in uldah as that's the most populated area and see if the japanese nm hunting crew is online. if they are and getting a party together i usually join them.
if they are not on i will go to retainer and grab materials and craft during the daytime and chat with ls mates.
once the evening comes my static group gets on i join up with them and go run leves or just do a group tour to explore or fight nm's. that depends on what everyone feels like doing that night. when we do run leves we usually run half one night and the other half the next and either explore or fight nm's til people need to get to bed for work/school.
once we finish leves i either sit and craft a few hours before bed or i try to get a nm party together inside one of my linkshells or try to do a free drop anyone welcome nm hunt. if not i will go and farm some mats for the next craft i plan to grind if i am low on mats.
I log on, check who's online in my linkshell. Do some casual chatting with them through my hours of gameplay, sometimes hooking up with them for NM fights or levequests. I do enjoy fishing for fun from time to time, it's quite relaxing really - and if I'm in the crafting mood I'll bring the fish to town and craft them into shards and crystals afterwards. Optionally I find a nice spot near the main street, working on my goldsmithing rank and selling what I make. I regularily do behests to grind, I do leves to get XP/SP and currency, using the gil earned to see if there's a new smashing attire on the market... Sometimes I go exploring, setting myself goals like attuning with new nodes on the map, and finding hidden locations. And now that they've added quests to the outposts, I often end up doing those too, to get bits of story into the game.
So in other words, I do a bit of everything. :)
I think we should ask too what we wish our daily routine was, lol.
1) Log in.
2) Use party search function to find an awesome party.
3) Grind mobs using Battle Regiment, racking in major EXP CHAINS lol. meet fun and charismatic new people
4) ???
5) Profit.
6) Log off.
the answers to this thread can't be a surprise for anyone...
like lerris posted:
1) collect local and regional levequests
2) do local levequests
3) do regional levequests, dropping off supplies from local levequests at each camp
4) do sidequests if waiting for leve reset
5) do story quest if available
you can add
6) farm materials and grind your jobs (if you play more)
the list can't really get bigger unless you use your imagination and do real roleplaying...
1) login, check leves, get guildmark leves and any decent locals
2) dunesfolk/ranine/levinshower (and also inferno/lightsome) - get in... do leves as quick as possible, get out
3a) raptor party maybe
3b) if not, spam craft, chat to LS and watch films/TV
4) sigh as my ever diminishing faith in the saving of this game is slowly whittled away piece by piece, i also wonder if i should take a break from the game until 1.18/1.19 or the 1st/2nd expansion.
5) come back and do it all again the next day because I don't want to get behind and because even though i dont seem to enjoy the game as much as I should, it keeps me coming back for more
My answer is not listed so far, as someone who has already finished most of the lvl's I want prior to PS3 release ( yes I still static leve's but more of a lack of other things to do then desire)
I do spend a majority of my time bold craft grinding HQ materials and products. I am trying to both make gil and more importantly get my ls members hq'd up with weapons and armor so when the stats start having an impact in battle my crew is ready for the changes and can just focus and enjoy content... This is my dream: log in with too much content to do, and have to make sacrafices with my time because there is so much fun stuff to take part in.
