Its all those shop exclusive mounts, gears, and experience boosts that make it awful.

my idea for fantasia put it on for buying for tombstones maybie 500? or sell them for 50,000 gil or 20,000 seals so it is expensive but it is a option in the game

i know i get one for free and i am going to use it to change into a lalafell but for those who make mistakes or find out they dont like there new looks could be stuck

As much as I would like to say yes. This is a horrible idea because not everyone has access to lair and it would be unfair to many people who don't end up doing much on DoW/DoM, there are people who like to craft/gather for fun. So unless the item was (UU) no way should that ever happen. Best idea as someone mentioned is have it cost a crap load of gil, or keep it as a subscription bonus. The first part helps gil get removed from the economy the second keeps players subscribed. Both of which people should have no qualms with.

The method you suggested on the other hand only creates a monopoly for people to get rich and corner the market it on, which SE has made quite clear with FATE(s) they do not want happening to a large extent.

As long as it's not affecting game-play and providing an advantage, does it really matter?

It's rather grating on me that I dumped the male highlander now, i'd rather not be stuck as a Female Miqo'te for the next 5-10 years.

There's no reason to be "anti" about this whole thing, if people want to change how their character look it doesn't affect you in anyway whatsoever.

That's your opinion. Mine is that a p2p game doesn't need extra price tags. Content should be for the players not the payers.
