Although I agree with you here, dungeonfinder will likely destroy the community. I do see things from his perspective also. Dungeon finder is an easy tool to use (and it's never nice to say someone is completely wrong). The drawbacks as we have established (and HAS been proven in other MMO's) is that it destroys communitites to the point that it is just 1000's of single players trying to get by.

This hit the nail on the head. For these reasons alone I think Dungeon finder is a bad tool to impliment

Ps, as a community we have a responsability to get along with each other and to reach out to other players. This way, there will be no need for tools such as dungeon finder

Senice no one is will to accept anything from western mmo's no matter how good or bad, this is what im seeing. 4 hour long LFG flag up then logging and trying again the next day, FFXI all over again.

This is a community game not a log in get your awesome gear and say hell with everyone. I'm sorry but i dislike logging in staying in the city and just enter BG and dungeon every few mins. Btw even the dungeon finder you have to wait hours if your not a tank class. Btw here one problem

let's say they do add dungeon finder and by luck you enter and there all JP they would kick you and you have to wait 30mins to enter again -.- then wait few hours to enter because you playing in jp time because you know not everyone works during the day. there a lot of issue with dungeon finder in FFXIV vs in wow.

Im not saying add a dungeon finder however if they just add a LFG system, whats to stop it from being like ffxi where somedays you cant get in a group to save your life.

The system right now is pretty good to tell you the true it just players don't want to use it. You set it up and a player look at it oh someone setting a run for "Dungeon1" you join and there you go.

FFXI: Player put up flag "One person /sea and get them together"
FFXIV: One person set it up "everyone who be looking for a party see it and joins"

They both have cons and pros :)

Lets hope the community doesn't ignore you because of the class you choose then.

If you get kicked from a JP party so what, you just join up again, not every JP party will kick western players, and perhaps it will actually help to break the barrier.

This game is a casual game not FFXI by the way and both auto grouping and dungeon finders would fit in well IMO.

It's no surprise to see so many people here disliking the idea though.

Now you're talking BS, how many "JRPG's" have actually been MMO's, single player JRPGs aren't very community based at all, perhaps Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star but both of those are MO's.

You are right AION was not a traditional Western MMO, but AION followed the same steps as western MMO's, and there is your example of a poor MMO IMO. and you must not be very observant because there are plenty of JRPG MMO's out there they are just not main streamed in NA like im sure everything you play.

i repeat i should have clarified AION (AION is also not a JRPG FYI), but outside of that you are speaking ignorantly research before you post outragous claims. In every single JRPG i have played the community was the main focus and every developer attempted to stay away from que dungeons.

O and ill also help inform you too of some of the JRPG MMO's:

1.blade chronicle online
2.shin megami tensei -megaten
3.FFXI
4.XIV
5.Dragon Ball Online (Korean/Japanese, but mainly korean)
6.Arad & Senki

Just because you don't see commercials on TV or your friends in school don't talk about these games does not mean they do not exist. Japan has a rich gaming culture and can support their own without releasing everything in NA, or ripping off Western MMO's concepts. There is a big world out there you should look into it.

Post above edited check um out sometime, and yes you can have a JRPG MMO. Do you break all MMO's down to Western and Eastern? because Japaneses MMO's are drastically different from Korean MMO's.

If you want i can give you more titles but you would not be able to play them, they are strictly Japanese. I only know all this because my friend lives in Japan and i visit him whenever i get the chance.
