It is an exclusive, it's only coming out for PS3/PS4, so it's exclusive only to Playstation. I know later on they said they might make it for PS4 as well, and I am glad they did. But since when they mention exclusives, PC's aren't included in that and they only mean console systems he was pretty much speaking the truth. So since it isn't coming out on Wii/Wii U/Xbox-anything... exclusive~! :D

FFXIV is a Exclusive to PS3 and it still is even if it goes to PS4 it still apart of the Playstation family. PC is not a console so it not part of the exclusive thing.

My guess is Microsoft wouldn't budge on the cross platform thing. I'll bet money when TESO hits next year, that the Xbone version of that will be the only one with it's own servers.

Your confirmation now comes at the end of the Crystal's call video. So doubt no longer sir.

I'm hoping it will be free or maybe a $10 fee or so to upgrade from the PS3 version to the PS4. I think it's in SE's best interest to announce something like that now. If people know the PS4 is around the corner, they may hold off on purchasing the PS3 version if they also plan on purchasing a PS4.

I think I will stick with the free PC version (Legacy) and will get the PS4 as soon as it comes out

I'm in the same boat as you and that is also precisely my point. I have the PC version but would like a console version as well. However, I'm not going to buy the PS3 version if I'm also going to have to buy a PS4 version. Thus, SE is delaying their sales if they don't provide an "upgrade to PS4 version" incentive for buying the PS3 version.
