Hmm now that I think of it, it'd be nice to bring over some of the FFXI fan'media' stuff, like the weekly screenshot of the week thing on their official page.

Also stuff the FFXI vault used to have was a 'caption/photoshop this screenshot' regular that happened once in awhile and had some hilarious ideas.

This and the Official Fan Fic topic both are nice ideas. Maybe they could conglomerate it into a fan-based repository for:

Artwork
Screenshots
Stories
Videos involving ARR game content, such as tributes or tutorials
Videos of ARR parody, live action or animated
Quest design
Dungeon design
Creature/model design

I would love something like this.

I'd much rather have a forum section dedicated to fanart! I never understood why they never added this. Free commercial through people's art. Do eeeet S-E.

I wish I was artistic and could draw pretty pictures ; ;
But at the very least I would certainly appreciate a space where I could go to look at everyone else's pretty pictures, since I do love the art comming from the fan base on the forums right now.

It's always fun. I think some MMOs do something like a monthly art or comic submission of their game and if the artist gets selected they get a free month of play time.
