GTX 680 Benchmark scores.

how much more heat is it generating at 4.0? and are you using the stock fan for it still?

Oh I am using a Skythe Mugen 2 air cooling. Nominal temps but it's sitting at around 1.35 volts.
On normal cooling, the cpu would fry. XD
I idle at like 55c.
i7's run hot.

Really it's quite a few things you need to change, depending on your motherboard.
Mostly just some settings in bios.
Honestly a moderate overclock, with aftermarket cooling, is totally reliable.
Standard coolers are horrible..lol

I see, I never really played with over clocking my pc's for this reason, I simply don't know enough about over clocking and would most likely fry my components the first thing I OC'ed lol.

A 670 is practically as good as a 680 and like 100 bucks cheaper.

Or you could just get a Titan, lol.

Absolutely right..
If you intend to play at 1920x1080 or lower, a 670 is the way to go.
The performance is virtually identical.

lol Titan is a monster.. eesh...

As for worrying about frying your PC with an overclock.
Overclocking is easy. Just as long as you take it slow and you monitor temps.
It's almost common sense.
You can just look up a guide and use that as a reference, as to what you need to do, for your cpu/mobo combo.
Take it step by step..
Installing the aftermarket cooling can be fun and it looks cool too. :P

But don't let me talk you into breaking your computer..lol..

I will play it safe, I will go buy the gtx680 SC edition as its already OC'ed for me, and see my scores, If I score 8000+ than I will keep the card, If I score below 8k than I will return the card.

I'm expecting us to have very similar scores. You should run this game very nicely. :)
