Anything that keeps me from standing in town shouting to get something done for six hours or asking my ls mates to help is considered solo content in my book, even if it does auto-match me with other players. So your right, clearly some people have different definitions of what the term "solo" is.

Well, to that credit, maybe it's better to solo fighting with others than to solo /shouting with others. But then that's just me. :P

I don't think the devs would deviate from TP. Sure, all classes being built around the same resource system is what sounds boring and make balancing a bit difficult without class-specific rulesets, but that ship sailed when they showed us how combat was going to work out in 2.0.

Not to mention it would feel odd if the starting seven classes worked off TP and MP and then Fencer worked off combo points and Mystics got a balancing-act resource (Light/Dark Energy, Lunar/Solar Eclipse, etc).

I was being sarcastic :P - maybe you got that and being sarcastic on my sarcasm. I'm not very good at the game lol

I like poking Starlord ^_^;

But yeah we create our own floods anyways - 50 pages of speculation, I'm pretty sure if SE ever wants anything debated they secretly let out only a tiny bit of information so that we can evaluate it from every angle multiple times.

Then we have to disagree about the meaning of solo. Any content where I am limited in my progress by the availability or skill of other players (or they are limited by my lack of skill) is not solo content in my book.

I was more diconcerted by them talking about making Red XIII a mount. There is such thing as "too much", and my biggest fear about 2.0 becoming a fan service is that they blow right past where the line for it is.
