Atomos: Major annoyance for new players

Okay, so yeah, if I were just trying to finish leve achievements or trying to level as a lower ranked player, I can see how this could put a damper on things....that said:

SE isn't really gearing the current content/game towards 'new' or low-level players. SE accepted a long time ago that this game version was trash and when they did that, they stopped actively seeking out a new playerbase, or even making the game accessable to new players (seriously, storyline from the CNJ guild still talk about casting all the elemental spells as a CNJ...). 95% of all content created in the past year has been aimed at entertaining capped players who've been loyal to the game more or less since release.

Again, this was a choice SE made to 'entertain/reward the loyality' of those still playing while they focused most of their attention on 2.0. So basically, if you are a new player, you are entering this world at your own risk. I am not saying I agree that new players shouldn't feel welcomed (you should)....but you need to understand, even the game's creators aren't considering the needs of new players atm...the last 6ish weeks of this game are solely for the 'vets'

That's really a load of crap as even the newbest noobs can recieve rewards from the event.

Try walking around and you won't die, minus the AoE it's really your fault if you aggro, Mamba. I realize how hard it is for you to accept your own shortcomings and not cry about things to everyone, but try to grow up before the end of the world.

OP does know that he could... Oh I don't know... RUN there? Chocobo there? Teleporting isn't the only means of transportation. Also teleporting there and walking out is a viable solution unless an imp sees you... Honestly people just like whine pitch moaning over the smallest little inconveniences...

Atomos spawns between 1800-2100 and 0000-0300 in game time. Just plan your visits to the camps around those time. Minor inconvenience.

If new players can't deal with something as small as this, then they probably won't be able to deal with the rest of the game in it's current state. It's better for them to wait until ARR.

You know I don't see anyone else whining expect people who have nothing better to do but to whine about new people pointing out an inconvenience if you happen to be a new player to the game lol.

And Eurynomos as you know... I am not a new player - I have been part of this game since alpha testing and have another character with more than 1 lvl 50. I didn't actually say anything about aggroing or anything so I am not sure why you directed your post to me. BUT to reply: I guess you left Besaid/Balmung because everyone there knew you were just a big ugly troll and no one liked you lol.

I just think that all you guys saying that new people shouldn't have a word about anything is just blain ignorant and very stupid.

I really appreciate some of the comments that actually advice that the atomos only pops certain time of the day etc. - THAT is actually being helpful. The rest of you are just whiny bitches who obviously have played games too long and have no social skill what so ever... or are just trolling because quite frankly you have probably done all the content in the game and don't have anything else to do.

Next time you see a new person, how about you give them constructive advice and stop bitching for one second how they aren't supposed to feel upset about something. I am sure you didn't born with exceptional skills to do everything in the world either.

Sadly Mamba you're always going to find people that actually live their life on a computer and don't experience the outdoors... I'm sure if they where this idiotic to someone IRL they'd get a smack In the kisser ?!

To your original post, i would be pissed to if this would interfere with my levelling, so i feel your pain.

Unfortunatelly, the game is changing to accomodate 2.0, therefore this type of content is welcomed and needed for about 95% of the server population.

SE will never be able to please everyone all the time, so you gotta take what you can, when you can :D

Going somewhere else, where the event isn't going on is HARD to do these days, right? The event isn't an annoyance if you time yourself when it starts and ends (You can stay far away from the aetheryte as well if it's such a problem) Then again, you can also wait until ARR (since this client won't be saving your progress once the 30th hits) If you die, that's all apart of the game, don't get so worked up over it.
We've all died plenty of times. (I remember in FFXI with that raging bull event, I died just trying to get to my destination)
