[REQUEST] Give Limited Jobs Evolved Forms!

I like this selection of skills! I see a lot of room for the devs to give the evolved form its own identity here, given the topic is coming up. I would love to see Sea Shanty in their evolved form too, but thats just a personal fav ^_^

As for identity, something I'm thinking while reading through this would be playing around mortal flame as a permanent dot. Dots work under a snapshot system so I'm not certain how this would work as far as code goes, but it would be interesting to see a part of blue mage's playstyle revolve around either A) prolonging mortal flame without having to recast it (giving it a cooldown that you have to manually extend with other gcds) or B) having mortal flame be a persistent dot that gradually intensifies over combat through the use of other gcds.

A spell like Bad Breath or Sonic Boom might ignite the dot, prolonging it or intensifying it, where something like Sea Shanty or Water Cannon might weaken or consume the dot for burst.

In a discord channel, there was a brief discussion that Blue Mage could have a gauge that functioned similarly to Monoco from E33 where you have a wheel that features some of your classic final fantasy monsters and whichever the wheel points to, that action is enhanced. Then when you use that action, the wheel moves forward a set number of spaces.

I've thought similar, with the trigger spell being Libra (or Off Guard). But I'd have done it as stacks of a debuff on the enemy, rather than a Job Gauge, so you'd use a certain kind of attack (type chosen at random) a few times, then recast Libra and move onto the next, rather than use an attack once then move to the next

Maybe Aetheric Mimicry could be even more unique, and you get a unique action based on the specific job you mimic? (For Evolved BLU)

Evolved is just the hybrid version of pve and pvp versions of jobs as so far shown with some new stuff included. Which as I mentioned before, blue mage never got a pvp version. Like for ninja for example, it will have its reborn, its evolved, and its pvp versions with different potencies and different abilities. Which is three versions. And the pvp one already exists, meaning technically on the high end there would be 65 jobs and their abilities to remember.

That's trusting Square-Enix to juggle all of that without dropping everything, where again we can't be sure how long reborn jobs will actually remain or how BLU already got the cold shoulder because they were "too busy" working on BST.

I would also argue that the work on evolved jobs probably also ate into BLU's update, or how its likely responsible for the long delay on BST. The BLU update and BST addition were both touted as Dawntrail features, but one got cancelled and the other isn't coming out until Dawntrail is practically over, BUT OH BOY THEY SURE WANT US TO KNOW ABOUT THE UPCOMING 23 "NEW" JOB MODES FOR THE NEXT EXPANSION.

So yeah, just one more reason I'm not keen on evolved jobs because its just going to end up another flavor of homogenization for humdrum standard content that's negatively impacted the only two jobs that actually feel unique, with modes built specifically for them and their personal mechanics. I'd rather they had spent all that time on evolved jobs giving the standard 21-23 jobs their own carnivals and crucibles instead.
