Not bringing in other thread stuff, it seems that anything with garters one one of the exact things CBU3 hates giving men. Because they don't seem to have an aversion to stockings on men, but garters.

Causation vs correlation. People pick female characters because most glam looks much better. It's difficult to find glam for a masculine character without looking like wannabe Hulk or a caricature. I am convinced there would be more male characters if we had more options to make them look appealing.

90-95% of items available in the game, presuming they are wearable by classes that wear 'armor.' I mean if you're asking 'where's the armor for black mages' they don't wear it, so yeah.

It feels weird because the Aiming alliance raid set, the one inspired by Lilisette, is way more "girly" than this one and it's imposed on male characters regardless (given the preview picture on male miqo).

They're just not consistent with the gear design guidelines.

i have my problems with monster hunter wilds but that game did armor/glamour well! Every character can wear either the "male" of "female" set. No restrictions. its perfect! I dont understand whe the ffxiv keeps doing this. im so tired of every healer has robes, every male armor has pants, like what??? why???

Males have literally nothing besides pants or shisui style speedos (not that I’m complaining on that front)

Like I legit can’t think of a single short to medium stylish shorts for males that aren’t just swimwear while I can think of multiple pants for females even if they still don’t get enough because of gender locked garbage like this

Please tell me the lalafell model is male because I hope the guys get those shorts at least.
