why every FF14 healer is berserk healer

If healers had to worry about dps and healing.....my god this forum would blow up with ppl saying omg this is way too hard. XD need I remind you ppl were already struggling doing M2, stray borough, and a few of the boss fights. I do agree that healing needs to be interesting. I miss astro night and day stance it added flavor and design to the class as well as it's random cards.

What would actually be fun on healers is not "rotations" but actual stuff to look out for like procs and more then just one 30s dot timer, rotations that are just spamming 1, 2, 3 is the most useless and not actual intresting change you can make at trying to improve healers damage buttons. Give healers nuances and things to manage damage wise.

I mean, I thought WAR's 123 was more interesting when its gauge management was also affected by gauge spender Onslaught on top of the buff timer and Fell Cleave shortening Infuriate's recast, and PLD storing a ranged attack with theirs could've been a little more tricky had dot Goring Blade and Blade of Valor stayed.

I think it has been proven numerically that healers are REQUIRED to dps in order to meet the enrage timer in endgame encounters.

They certainly should have stayed, as much as I'm loyal to paladin I had way more fun with the old rotation

I must have missed the part where healing became more than an oGCD-sidegame in Shadowbringers. Can you point me to the patchnotes and the fights where that happened, and when it was (apparently) reversed afterwards again? TY in advance!

I remember when AST introduced in HW, we have rather weak healing potency compared to WHM or SCH. I was busy keeping my team alive. The lack of DPS rotation was not my biggest concern it was the change toward more oGCD heal (which a lot of players in this forum asked) finally break my interest in player healer class

I heal in wow and I can assure you that while we do have more gcd healing than in xiv and healing comes first to damage, if you're not dpsing in wow you're playing your class wrong.
