Don't get me wrong i played PLD back in StB and i didn't like how it couldn't block magic damage, or how fight or flight only buffed your physical. I mean i do enjoy current PLD but i miss the old PLD that had goring blade as a dot

as of recent interview. There will be 0 changes to combat system in 8.0. Combat system relies on things like 2min meta and gdc timer, meaningless gearing and so on. So outside of bare basic there not gone be anything changed anyway.
