To me, this is the clearest sign the devs play-testing was inadequate or completely absent. You can view the AST teleport either as a win-more ability or something that keeps the job overpowered when played by low-skilled players. Either way, it shouldn't be there.

Is it only the teleport aspect or also the dash itself that makes AST so overpowered? If you were to remove the beacon and only keep the dash would that help?

It'd naturally make them more vulnerable, sure. I think what's really puzzling is giving this ability to a ranged job, particularly one with such a large AoE.

It's hardly puzzling, considering that SCH gets expedient. However I would point out given the "walls" remark, that it's one thing to consider this in the context of CC, and another one to do so when potentially much larger group has an AST marked in FL.

Which once more reinforces why , ideally - abilities could get adapted for each mode- even if potentially - the CD changed, only one mode kept the beacon.

You know, I do agree, it can be a headache when you assume that everyone has either played a specific game, know a specific character, of is aware of a meme. So your "recontextualization" doesn't have the affect that you assume that it does.

Oh, and by the way? It's a forum. it's not a question of being "serious" or "nit-picking", if you can't handle a respectful difference of opinions, why even be here - unless you just want an echo chamber, that is.

I realize you didn't understand the context of my comment, and you haven't understood that not everyone might understand yours. Calling yourself a clown is unduly harsh, however no need to sidetrack this discussion any further.

Yeah that is... actually quite impressive. The 5s heavy on doublecast was really too much.

Looks like a buff to SAM which it didn't need.

Same for MCH. Maybe they were worried BRD would dominate phys ranged.

Viper was toothless so those changes make sense.

Pretty major nerf to RDM, which was pretty oppressive.

Massive buff to Picto. Hmmm.
