I prefer casual glams because most of the gear looks like sh*t.

. When that sailor uniform was added in cash shop, l swiped immediately without a second thought. So, l casted my vote and see seems to be getting the message
Final Fantasy is not a medieval fantasy series. Go play Dragon Age or something.

I don't understand why there's people commenting as if it's an either or situation.
Can't we get interesting casual attire AND interesting combat attire?
Here's a costume design challenge: make armor sets that look practical for their role, but also look like they can be worn casually, and have a sense of style to them.
Actually that ff15 screenshot highlights the problem pretty well! Noctis is arguably in casual wear but he looks like he's from a different game completely from the Unity Store Steves copy pasted around him. Eating burgers with their own clones all wearing the same chinos and flip flips.
Interesting that you post 6, but a picture of the Magitek armors and not any of the gorgeous outfits I would love to have in this game… lol I was so happy with the Moonward set that was inspired by 4, though sad we missed out on Rosa’s. I’d also love to get Jill’s skirt from 16; a lot of the outfits there were great, but we only got Clive’s. And I’d do a hundred Fates to get Lulu’s dress from 10!
You make a good point though, in that the FF series is a mash-up of both fantasy and modern looks. They’re just leaning heavy into modern for glam gear here. But I was just as tired of the PvP series gear being full plate armor, so I was glad to see that change at least.
