If they want to be that way let them, if people are willing to put up with it and still join them regardless of the high pressure enviroment I say all the power to you.

I'd rather have a small group of friends I can play casually with on my own scheduel. I can't stand organized events for the most part mainly because I don't really plan my time in advance I'm on the game for a week straight at time then I disapear for a month or two. Some people can handle the rigid scheduel and thrive on the organized enviroment.

I don't see why the two groups can't co-exist, instead of hissing at eachother like stray cats in a alleyway.

We're posting on lodestone because the player pool of this game per server is going to have a hard time justifying 24man content. To sustain raiding 24man content you'll need 30 or so active players, some wont be able to make every raid, things will come up, work etc. That being said we have to reach out to more than just our server and let the community know we're recruiting. We're not nearly as elitist as everyone seems to think, its also quite hard to judge unless you've been in/around the LS. I don't see the need to post if anyone thinks we're bad people.

It just amazes me how BG gives people such an intense butthurt. lol

I love their events and requirement post they are really funny.

People hating elitist attitude =/= people being butthurt, just FYI. Also most people who played FFXI that play or watch XIV will immediately link 'BG' to the specific forums where they keep in-game hacks and exploits to their inner circle and get pissed when the "unwashed masses" gain access to it and get it fixed and them subsequently banned.

Whether they're the same group or not, that's part of the reason people will seem "butthurt."
