There isn't just one man designing everything, by the way. There are many people working together, collaborating and making ideas the best that they can be.

You don't need to play something for a bunch of hours to know what makes it fun. Just because you play something for a bunch of hours doesn't mean you know what makes it fun.

Haha I liked your "dun dun dun," you sounded so serious. All that proves is that they hired like 2 or 3 NA GM's for serious stuff and the rest are foreign. However, here's the kicker, are you ready? A good friend on mine has a brother who works as a GM in Brazil, but she doesn't know for which game. The reasoning I gave was based on information she gave me purely speculation.

I never suggested it was one man designing the whole thing, I said there was only really one person on the staff who spent any real time playing MMOs.

While anyone may have their opinion of what fun is and isn't in a video game, the people who have best grasp on whats fun in MMOs and what isn't are those who've played them, and played them religiously.

What information? About the Brazil thing? A good friend on mines brother works as a GM in Brazil, but she doesn't know for which game. I don't bother looking stuff up for forum disputes unless I can find it like instantly on wiki. The other stuff I said regarding copy paste and time limits was based on information given to me from a Girl I used to dated who worked in customer support. So also speculative. When ever I post something I'm not sure of though I always try to leave myself an out, which I did, so there's no point in arguing over it.

The link you provided (I only bothered to read the first one) is old and out of date. It's a 2007 add for FFXI, SE has lost a lot of money since those days... It's possible that my hypothesis was correct still...

If your gonna post something and then turn around and say what you post doesn't matter then why post it in the first place? And you base your information on a website that can be edited by anyone, if I were you I would rely on information that's a little more reliable. You made a comment saying SE's GMs are probably outsourced to Brazil and your sources are from a source that's not even sure what company their relative works for and you rely on wiki and when presented with information saying your comment is wrong you toss it to the side and say it didn't matter anyway.

#2 is impossible to cite at all. It's based on my experiences, and on my conversations that I've had with other players. I hear what I consider to be some of the best suggestions come out of hard core gamer's, and as a somewhat hard core gamer myself I've found a lot of my suggestions to be agreeable with hard core gamers as well. I also think that my belief that the more you do something the more understanding of it you will have may be correct based on common knowledge, but if you can show me evidence against it I could be persuaded against it I suppose(That was sarcasm in case it lost it's meaning being read).

Well what I took out of that big wall of angry text was that you were angry, and one of the reasons why was because I didn't check the other links. So I did. One's from Germany and the other doesn't have a date. So that also proves nothing, great. Not many people in Brazil don't speak German, they speak Portuguese and English. In regards to wiki, the fact that it can be edited by everyone makes it more reliable, in lieu of the fact that anyone can and does call out incorrect information.

Who cares anyway, maybe you're right maybe you're not. I'm not arguing about it, I'm just saying don't act cocky when you didn't prove anything. If it makes you feel better I'll concede the point to make you happy. You're right, I'm wrong. Now lets get back to the subject of the topic please.
