Mudra why so many ninja don't use them?

Raiton is actually your filler. Consideration can be given to Fuma if finishing off an enemy before a double mudra can be performed, or the boss is going to enter a transition that will expire Raiju Ready such as Barbariccia or Proto Carbuncle's.

All other jutsu are entirely situational and there are several.

For AoE situations Katon is your go-to. Doton requires at least five ticks to beat out Katon, so if at least one enemy will survive that long, then Doton should be applied and should be your first jutsu cast unless TCJ has it covered.

Suiton is for 2min and 1min burst windows, and Hyoton is only used under Kassatsu, which also falls under the burst windows.

I tried to explain this to a friend of mine and his response was, "I'm just going to play Ninja Storm."

I also suggested that Huton should come with a small AoE nuke instead of having the ultra lame Hurajin. Oh well. :/

Edit: Man, my Doton math was way off. I'm surprised no one called out my BS, lol. Ah, well. I fixed it.

i think i did see some ninja doing their mudra in my run sometimes

i turn off all my effect so i didnt see the thunder or fire mudra effect but sometime i do see the handsign standing animation on some of my run

Considering how many Dotons I see put on bosses, Ninjas are definitely using mudras in my experience. They're just not using them wisely.

Sub-optimal would be just using them on cooldown or using them on the wrong abilities. (like single target Doton, which often stems from the wrong assumption that DoT effects tick every second, most likely learned in other mmos.)

Not using them at all is just ignoring a main feature of your job and expecting other people to carry you because you can't be bothered.

I see Ninjas using Mudras all the time, they just tend to use them wrong, like Doton on a single target (please do not do this)

Motives for bad play can be just are varied. Ignorance, laziness, some other nebulous reason.
If someone wants to make spectrum out of bad gameplay, then I say go for it.
But for now, for whatever reason mudras arent used, I'm going to call not using mudras sub-optimal gameplay.
Because surely it it below optimal to not use mudras.
