I don't believe they said it happens a lot, they said THEY do it. Haven't seen the reason for saying it doesn't happen/happen often. Let's debate about things that were actually said.

As someone who was stalked and harassed on EU for over a year and a half, yeah that aint right, sorry not sorry.

If after roulette I get a dm from some random person from the roulette, I'll question why they are in my private messages, and rightfully so

Watching the Fanfest in Japan earlier this month, Yoshi-P stated the team really enjoyed working on the Hildibrand content (and that it ate up a large chunk of the cutscene budget, which is not surprising, haha)- he said the team still wants to keep doing hildibrand for the foreseeable future - but at the same time, it also sounded like that was the end of doing Relics that way as well- because they brought up the topic of how people really wanted content like Eureka and Save The Queen field operations to return; so he said they'll be bringing that type of content back.

So there is some hope for Relics going back to that happy medium that we saw in Eureka and Save The Queen.

You realize that regardless of how you farm tomes, it's most likely mindless grinding right?

Grinding is the act of doing something over and over again. Spamming roulettes for tomes? Grinding. Spamming any tome dungeon/trial? Grinding. The list pretty much goes on and on.

Don't lie about the status of the content, just admit you have preferences.

Your personal experience, while regrettable, isn't the sole outcome possible of talking to randos after doing stuff in a video game. Don't paint your perspective as the only way things work and laugh at others who have different positive experiences.

You all play nice and try not to quibble over technicalities instead of focusing on actual points, got errands to run. Have fun~

They turned the relic into Tome Weapon v2. Seriously, if you didn't like the relic in previous expansions, you did not have to do it. People that enjoyed the grind from previous iterations should not have the content stripped away just because you want to get your relic by doing dailies inbetween your erp sessions :(.

You can do Eureka
Deep dungeons, Island Sanctuary, etc etc, all still in the game.

The content is not removed from the game. We have plenty of other stuff you can play, there are other rewards you can get from these things besides relic weapons. So again, please explain what is lost? To say they're hard is not very true, they just require more time. To say this time proves something it really doesn't. Nothing is lost, nothing is even really gained at all.

At this point it just feels like complaining for the sake of something to complain.

Oh but when it's in a way that benefits what you want it's okay but not the other, makes sense.

Just like you say people can do Eureka or bozja if they want, you could just..... not do the content if you didn't like it.

This is 100% disingenuous or willful ignorance. What was lost was content like Eureka and Bozja that wasn't implemented this expansion. You also fail to comprehend that players making this complaint were looking forward to new content to grind because they have already completed the relic grinds from the previous expansions, but instead, they just handed in the 1,500 tomes they already had rotting in their inventory and will now have nothing to do for 6 months in the game unless they missed doing something in previous expansions that did actually give more content to players they want to go finish.

At this point, it just feels like you're gaslighting others.
