NA Fanfest was a bit sad compared to EU and JP Fanfests

I believe they’re referencing Japanese culture/mindset as a whole in the means of exclusion & how it favoured better in Japan than both NA & EU.

Pretty much the whole thing seems to stem from how Fanfest was handled differently & it’s easy to pintpoint out blindfolded at who’s to blame etc.,

Ya'll do know NA fanfest was put together by the folks at NA SQ, right? Yoshi P and the other devs more or less just figure out what to announce and show up, but its our folks that set it all up... so... yeah...

Thats how it's always been, NA Fanfest is more of a meet and greet, it's less about the game and mosr about community. EU fan fest is a middle ground and then JP is more game oriented then meet and greet.

Imo they should just do one huge convention and call it a day, save money, save time, spend more time developing and everyone can just enjoy themselves in one big multi cultural event.

A noble & thoughtful inspiration & I’ll agree to it.

Though it begs the cost for travelling for its fans; let alone the staff etc.,

If it were solely hosted in Japan unlikely most non-japanese attendees would be present (Japan is indeed costly with accomodation sorts) & vice versa if it were to be hosted in NA, while alas EU would be likely conflicted.

It’s a great thought, just difficult to accomodate for your own expences, let alone your timing & money’s worth & having a Mega Event to accomodate hundreds of fans.

Expected considering how terribly managed a lot of places in our country tends to be. Especially for cons.

This isnt an excuse though, I seriously wish NA venues do better and actually give more of a shit about maintenance

I thought all of the fanfests were boring this time around. We spent like a total of 3 hours on the graphics update across all three fests.

because thats the most important part that people wanted to know more about? Like content plan wise its all shit we already know to come to expect such as new dungeons, zones, raids, fates, quests etc

Although I cant excuse that 10 minute lalafell chin part in the EU Fanfest, that HAS to be some sort of inside dev joke they pulled to troll the audience.
