^This. It doesn't matter if I fail my careful synths. It's nicer if they succeed, as that gives me more quality, but even if they fail I still get a lot of quality and pass using my method.

...what the hell do you mean by this? You DO know that rest bonus only impacts xp gain right? It doesn't confer any other benefit? Seriously, I've never seen any crafter more misinformed about how to play...

To OP:
Hasty Hand is not for quick leveling.
If your goal is to grind through more mats or leves because you don't want to use Careful for more exp per synth, then you should level up Blacksmith to use Maker's Muse and Greater Calling.

I would get less enjoyment out of this idea. What about this idea makes it enjoyable? It takes away any kind of interesting part of crafting and replaces it with "click button to synth". This makes crafting much faster, but not more enjoyable. There is nothing enjoyable about me clicking a couple of buttons and knowing what the end result will be before it even happens. That is taking away any challenge and for me that means taking away any fun.
