It's something that if you rush for you'll probably get burned out on, so instead you should sit back until they day comes where you do "Oh hey I have 25k seals and 9 beast tokens."
...
OH WAIT
Seals and tokens are they only reason to do caravans and hamlet content, and relic weapons are the only reason you would want to get seals (beyond maybe some gear) and tokens. So it looks like there's no reason to do half the content except to get relic weapons.
That being said I'm still shooting for mine.
It's a very long and tedious process, i'm not going to loss sleep over not being able to get it before 2.0 as I'm sure there'll be equal or better alternatives come 2.0.
I'll take my sweet time to get it, no rush really, maybe after 2-3 years.
im waiting till 2.0 to even bother and thats if they take out the BS random stuff.
Plan on being smn main so not really interested.
I'll work on them but not gonna get my hopes up of having one right out the gate.
I'm actually more worried that we're getting something like relic at this stage of the game. I can understand that they want to add a long term end-game content. But I always went with the thought that a level increase will eventually happen. And here we are at level 50, which now became the endgame level. Where we gather thousand of different weapons and an almighty one now. "The one weapon that shall rule them all!" Sorry bad pun...
In any case, my worry is that we're going to be stuck with level 50 cap for a long time. Even the luminary items make me worry and the way to achieve them. It's nice and all for now but once that level cap goes up, nobody will bother to try and get the items. Unless they make it so, that the items become more efficient as you level. Basically make them progress alongside your character.
